  1. I'm afraid I don't understand, A neutral ship can pass through a belligerent, but a belligerent can't pass through a neutral ship? Is this correct? If so, why? Thanks
  2. If I may add also, what happens if you don't accept surrender? Will I get the whole country if the NM goes to 1 ?
  3. I was one of those who complained about SC Global conflicts' unreadable manual. So I wasn't expecting much from this games manual. What a pleasant surprise I got when I saw the printed manual that arrived with my game! Nicely printed and the letters were big enough to read! It is very nice to get a REAL manual these days, makes me remember the good old days of boxed games with printed manuals and maps and all that sort of stuff. Thanks guys, very refreshing! Great game!
  4. The game looks and runs great! I just want to say Thank you to Hubert and everyone else involved! Looks like another winner! Mike
  5. Sorry Hubert, I also don't have a save,but will next time.
  6. Yes, I see this all the time. Land units also have this problem, I've seen the ai replace armies gaurding cities, with air units while my armor is right next to the city! Good game, but many weird ai anomalies.
  7. I just went 7 turns with rain and snow,(in Europe), and could not fly. I can live with that, but on all 7 turns, the computer had clear weather! It was able to pound me with air while mine can do nothing. Such is war! This is a great game and I am having a blast with it.
  8. Thanks for the answers. There are some very good ideas here! I am really liking this game, thanks Hubert & Co.
  9. Hello guys, In previous SC games I very rarely messed with diplomacy,I never saw any real benefit for the cost involved. In this game, I am getting a feeling that diplomacy might have some more benefits. But too spend hundreds of production points only to have the country move a few percentage points, seems like a waste, because I can do more with the units that I would have bought. I was just wondering how other players deal with diplomacy. It appears to me that to get just one country to join me, requires more money than it is worth.I would rather spend it on units or tech. How do you afford it? Another question I have is, Do the number of diplomacy chits sent to a country, affect the percentage shift? For instance, if I have 1 chit in Turkey, and have a succesful diplomatic phase(die roll?), will the shift be the same as if I have 4 chits? Or will it be less? Just too clarify,I am talking about the result of diplomacy, not the chance of success.(I know more chits increase the odds of success) Thanks for any advice.
  10. Thanks guys. This is the first AAR of GC that I see.
  11. Kinky, didn't you have your game for sale here the other day? Why didn't your brother buy it?
  12. Hey Snowstorm, I just wanted to say hello to another citizen of Bethlehem! I was born and raised here, I see we are even the same age. Have a nice day! Spring has come to the Lehigh Valley!
  13. Just like everything else, we get less and less product for more money.
  14. Modern global war is all about supply and logistics. To have a global wargame without supply is not realistic. IMO thanks
  15. I would like to get this game, but I am a little confused. What is the complete,up to date version? There seems to be SC2, blitzkrieg, weapons and warfare, and patton drives east. I'm not interested in a post war east and west conflict, so I guess I don't need patton, but what about the others? Any advice? Thanks
  16. What are you, a hawk? I wish I had your eyes!
  17. One of the selling points for a preorder game, was a printed manual. What a joke that is! Did you guys see this manual? the type is so small, a magnifying glass won't help. Then they cram 2 pages of text onto 1 manual page! Completely worthless. I'll need to waste my ink to print it out from the pdf. This will be my last pre order. I like the game but the printed manual was a cheap sales ploy.
  18. Thanks for the insights. I am enjoying the game very much!
