  1. HI Guderian Michel advice follows: Allow 1 Giga memory to the preperences of the virtual machine when the machine is shut down. Allow as much as possible memory for the pc video card. Good luck. Today I did a LAN battle against the quad processor pc of Michel it works too but in mi side the strain was too much for my card and not enjoyable.
  2. I was tired of waiting to play SF in a mac but I don't like the windows environment, so I purchased a new MacBook and installed parallels desktop 4.0 on it, then I installed windows XP and got the SF& marine bundle, and it works. The game runs smooth with all the visual options turned at "best" Thanks to the dual procesors the computer doesn't become half as hot as the toshiba in wich I played the game some time ago... It cost me a little time and money, but I am playing now my favorite game in my favorite machine, thanks to my friend Michel who gave me the idea, and to battlefront team to produce such a stable and enjoyable application
  3. I'm happy to see a topic about prisioners and desertors
  4. Hi Treeburst to the volga is not a battle, it is an operation
  5. I find it today playing a TCP/IP game. I was losing big time with a conscript batallion, and had to use all I had, so I did order area fire to a wood patch with one of such rifles, and at the end I look in the kills of my cowards, err conscripts, the rifleman did kill one ennemy soldier... I thougth it was a good tip to share.
  6. Best wargame EVER! Big Hug to the five fantastic who make one big and happy group of thousands of human? beeings enjoy themselves playing and discussing together, (those last two years at least...)
  7. He he ehe ehehehhehhh there is always Hope Ehem I couldn't resist... I also got to see some neat new eye-candy. In the new game, whenever you fire your [small arms?] at a target, you get to see [bullets?] [laying dust lanes?] in the [ground?] around the [enemy?]. I also liked the impact of [wind?] on the graphics. It does several things, including [waving?] [trees?], [pushing?] [smoke?] and [fliying?] [snow?]. Truly marvelous to see.
  8. My experience about POW: After trying hard plenty of times I managed to made freesome prisioners taken to my by the AI, they were unarmed (writted in yellow under the status bar) It is hard to believe in your history, sorry...
  9. I did play it against the designer by PBEM; I had + 25% of forces and the axis side, I lost anyway (by a small difference) In my opinion this is a very nice map, in wich is easy to get flank shots, the feature of the dry river allows to hide troops and vehicles to be invisible till you decide otherwise, I tried it to against the AI in order to practice some tactics, very good too; I recomend warmly this one, thanks Flammenwerfer for the good moments
  10. LOL The people who play wargames develop an mental illnes?

  13. The fellow who didn't like the 4 HMGs is still thinking western Europe. He has a name Jason, how is possible to be so impolite? You have only place in your mind for a thing a time?, please, think at the critics you get. Beeing as you are can be only if you are a old soldier out of service because you were a maniac. It is a nice game this one, even if it is not perfect, I love it even if the grazing effect of the guns is not "that real", take it easy man, still better, take a vacation...
  14. Sorry guys, but... do you know? once a flamethrower team of mine get a enemy shell right in the canister and get in fire! was not pretty to watch...
  15. I think there was only a tube attached to a plate and to legs to estabilize it, no crosshairs or sight device...
  16. Do you remember "valley of trouble" ? There are AT mines and the engineers do spot them before the tanks arrive.
  17.
