Thanks for the reply, but why would the Battlefront or 1C specifically mention squad control as a new feature if it was already possible to do it? They must be referring to some enhanced squad control. If that is the case, I was asking if it would be possible to add that control to TOW-Kursk.

I have Webring's fantastic video tutorials on mission creation. Without those I would be COMPLETELY lost instead of just partially lost. The "manual/tutorial" on mission editing that comes with TOW2-Kursk is sparse when it comes to nuts & bolts. Just explaining the menu items doesn't cut it. We need a step by step tutorial on Trigger writing. I try to edit the Triggers created when I run the "simple" mission editor. I'm not able to create triggers that work. Am I the only user with these problems? I'm a 50 something wargamer, not a programmer.

I don't know about anyone else, one of my main enjoyments in pc wargames is the editing process. I enjoy tinkering with all aspects of the games. TOW should be an editors dream for me - however it is a nightmare. My problem with TOW is the ****** triggers! Why can't all the triggers be incorporated into menu choices contained in the Mission Editor? The "Simple Editor" already does that to a "simple" degree. Come on guys (or gals), let's get rid of the triggers and make them menu choices in the Mission Editor.

The system requirements clearly list 32 bit vista as a supported operating system. I recently purchased a 64 bit windows 7 pc. Will PT Boats run on a 64 bit system?

Thank you. I feel very foolish as I had to do as you suggested for my vista 32 bit system. I forgot I needed to "Run As Admin" with Windows 7. Thanks for the prompt answer.

I replaced by 32 bit vista with 64 bit windows 7. I loaded the cd (version 1.22) into the windows 7. When I go to the automatic update, I receive the message: "Access to path..\users is denied". I also get an error message when I try to update from the Battlefront site.

I cannot run any of the updates. Do the patches work with a Windows 7 64 bit?

As a completely new modder in training, what tutorial do you recommend I start with? I downloaded the extractor and have no idea what to do with it. Any help would be appreciated.

Tartari: Could you please provide details as to why you believe that this is the premier WWII infantry simulator in the world at platoon scale. Maybe an "infantry tutorial" may convince us all that your opinion has merit. I for one, would be very pleased to be convinced of your opinion.

The recommended sytem requirements are for 64 bit windows. My system, 32 bit vista, meets all other recommended specs. How slow will the game play with a 32 bit operating system? I know I will be able to download the demo when it is available. Thanks.

I second the quote above. I'm not asking modding questions, I just want to know how to use the mods provided in the mod pack. Will anyone in the mod community throw out some pointers?

Didn't work for me. Performance for CMBB is worse with 190.38. Game freezes and whole areas are blacked out.

Yes, I hit the save and run TOW2. When I was on the main TOW2 menu, the battle button was unavailable. As I said, I did not reboot the pc after changing to "run as admin" and I'm not home currently to retry it.
