Hi, can i install the new CMSF Demo 1.11 when the full game of CMSF 1.11 is installed ? I would like to try the Marines Mission in the Demo...

Will there be a special pack including the both modules (marines, and brit) on a cd version to buy in stors ?

I have a video from the Bundeswehr, where you can see a MG3 firing in Night Combat Training. The Targets are 250m away. And you can see the tracers (every 5 bullet) in a realy straight line. If you fire at a target you see you can use the MG nearly like a normal rifle. In Combat Shooting (Gefechtsschießen) the MG Gunner Makes the differend. A good MG gunner can easely take out targets 400m away with one ore two bursts. But area fire (supressive fire) is a different thing, the gunner will handle his weapon in a other way to cover the area with bullets. So i think there should be two options for the MG in CMSF, "Normal Fire" and a "Area fire" where you can select the target area like with a artillerie strike. I have to say, i can only speak for the german MG3 in "training" situation, never saw combat. But my grandpa was MG42 gunner in Normandy, told me some similar storys.

I think my 2 Years in the German Army (Heer, Jäger, Infantery) helps me to understand "whats going on" at the game. But, CMSF is a game. And i a 13 year old boy can beat a general in such a game...its all about training.

I dont think so... Battlefront is the only Game Company that i would support. Such games, with good graphic, a realy rare. And i think Battlefront can do nothing to bring us the Paradox Patch faster. Paradox has a realy bad support at all, i never would buy a game from them.

Ok...to hell with Paradox ! I will buy the Marines Module. But what i have to do (i want the download version) ? What is the safest pay method ? Hey, im German...

I know. But what i did understand is: If you (Battlefront) are able to bring it before Chrismas...why they are not ? I can remember, i think it was 1.07 and we have to wait one week longer for the paradox patch. Look at this site...there is still 1.02 at the cmsf page: http://www.paradoxplaza.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=178&Itemid=199 They give no Informations at theyr board. Why they dont remove the **** copy protection so we can use Battlefront Patches. Then they would have the right for such a bad support.

Still no Paradox Patch... When did you send them the Files, are they just slow or lazy ?

I dont want to buy the Marines Module...i saving my money for the British Module or the CMx2 WW2 Game. Can someone kick some Paradox butts please ?

I realy hate paradox... If i know before that with the Paradox Version i have to wait "weeks" longer for some patch i buyed the battlefront version. Please Battlefront, give them some pressure ! Never again paradox !

That means that 8.11 + 1.11 did not remove the problem but with 8.12 + Vista all works fine ? What about 1.11 + 8.12 with XP ? I tested something and with 1.0 (new install) and 8.11 i dont get these graphic problems...

Did anyone tryed it with 1.11 ?

Ok, i testet something: I reinstalled the game and with version 1.0 i dont get any graphic problems (broken Intro and pixeled and crazy colours in game). Then i installed version 1.10 and the graphic problems are there. With my old ATI Driver i dont get this problems so this must be a conflic between the newest ATI Driver 8.11 and CMSF 1.10 or the newest Direct X and CMSF 1.10 ! My System: ATI X1900 GT Driver Version 8.11 Newest DirectX Version Paradox Version of the Game No Marine Modul installed Patch 1.10 installed Please fix these problems with 1.11 !

Hi, Since i updated my ATI Drivers to Version 8.11 i get a total pixeled and crazy picture (all colours mixed) where the intro movie should show but can get into the game menu with a mous click. Is this problem known and what can i do ?

Will there be a 1.11 Patch for CMSF without Marine Module ?
