  1. So far looks very impressive. Though I must admit that I was surprised - and a little disappointed - that there are no 'battles'.
  2. I think the 'rocking tanks' were also present on TOW1 - but I agree, its a nice touch.
  3. Seems to be an increasing issue with games these days; just look at the problems some are having with ETW. I guess I'm lucky in that I can play the demo maxed out. I personally like the theatre (though I would have preferred 1941-2) and feel that far from feeling like an unfinished product, I encountered no major problems.
  4. Still stuck on the 3rd mission (I'm not a very good player!) - but I will keep at it
  5. Gnasher, thanks for this fix; I was stuck at the same point and can now continue.
  6. It looks really promising. I particularly like the way they have handled infantry in buildings. Has anyone found out whether/how you can change the stance of infantry?
  7. Arzok, Yes, after a couple of attempts! I'm now on the third mission - really enjoyable. I particualry like the fact that the first three missions have all been so varied.
  8. himmelstoss, sorry, by mp I meant mission pack. Also, I can't seem to get the lastest version of JSH (1.3.2) installed properly (main menu shows 1.3.1), but no problems play wise with 1.3.1.
  9. If there is a random battle generator in the MP, I haven't found it. Where did you hear of this?
  10. Ok, having said that this mp is too expensive, I would be a hypocrite if I didn't 'come clean' and admit that I have just bought it! Two reasons. Firstly, I have just got back to playing TOW again, and am really enjoying it, (especially the excellent Uchronic campaign). And secondly, neither BFC or IC can be blamed for the collapse of sterling. If this had come out less than a year ago, then it would have cost me c.£12, or roughly half of what it actually has.. A quick look at both campaigns suggests that if you can afford it, it might be too soon to rule out buying it completely.
  11. As Tankbuster says $25 is pretty much £25 which is at least twice what I would pay for what looks like about 8 missions in total. Some revision needed re that price guys...
  12. Hi Gnasher, I have the same problem with Bulldogs 2 i.e. a ctd on loading 2nd mission. I tried the Bulldog 2 zip (above) but it made no difference. ps I really enjoyed the first mission, and would love to try the rest of the campaign!
  13. Arzok, I'm finding the first mission pretty tough - don't tell me it gets harder!
  14. As I thought, it was my fault (hadn't copied a file!) Working now, and looks great.
  15. Arzok. Yes, I have (and complete) the presentation of your troops; its the first proper mission where I get a ctd immediately at the start of loading
  16. It's probably a problem at my end, but when I try to load the first mission (Russian attack?), I get a ctd. I have the uber patch and latest JSH mod installed.
  17. I am getting the same openGL ctd as well. Also with Vista 32 and 180.48 drivers. I have never had this problem before with CMSF, only once I installed 1.11.
  18. Hi, grateful for some help! I decided to re-install CMSF then Marines. CMSF is installed ok, but when I try to install the Marines the install is greyed out. Any advice please
  19. If you enjoy CMSF, then you should definitely get the Marines. The campaign looks really interesting, and there are some excellent 'battles'; given the price I think it is a no-brainer!
  20. NM Thanks for a brilliant map and scenario (even though I got wiped out!)
  21. Hi Gnasher, I tried to load Capture Gavrus again, and it CTD just before the loading is complete
