  1. Nope, it's not out yet, but it's available for pre-order, and should be out relatively soon.
  2. Haha, the last time I tried to play a Total War game I tried using the CM:SF camera controls. Just goes to show what happens when you play a game too much!
  3. Uh, that's either a campaign design issue or a bug. Just to double-check, you only used the method with a save that was made between missions, right?
  4. I guess the point here is that, while BFC is in the right legally, it would probably help if it this is made crystal clear. True, it's in the fine print, but who reads the fine print?
  5. I have a vague recollection of Iraqi AA assets being used against 1st LAR at An Nasiriyah, but I don't have a reference for it.
  6. I just got really lucky. It was the digital equivalent of flipping a book open to the exact page you want.
  7. Given that the Shilka (as in CM:A) cannot actually shoot at aircraft (since nothing can in-game ), but is included only in the anti-ground fire role, there wouldn't be much point in including Blue AA since they'd seldom if ever be on the front lines with the rest of the Blue forces depicted.
  8. Should I also not ask you to spell it? Gebirgsjäger EDIT: Sorry for sounding so snarky, but I couldn't help it.
  9. He means CMSF 1.20. Check the 1.20 manual, there's a way (that involves shift+clicking IIRC) to load a saved game into a new version of the campaign.
  10. Yeah, I tried that. It didn't work. My guess it that I botched something along the way, since I did it in a massive hurry.
  11. Well, I did the test with CMSF 1.21 . . . and I didn't get it to work; their experience didn't go up. Maybe I just did it wrong and someone else should take a look at it, I just threw the test together in 5 mins.
  12. Again, primarily if you play as Blue with their excellent comms. In my experience with Red, it's really important to keep your commanders nearby.
  13. I heard somewhere that you can do that. I've never tried, but I might conduct a quick test this afternoon, time permitting.
  14. Hi Greenjacket, are you using the newest version? I made some changes to mission 3 that should hopefully make it easier.
  15. No worries. I DID plan to do it, I just plain forgot.
  16. WHOOPS. Something for v1.5 then! Sorry I forgot about implementing this. The AI plan change should enough for now; I'll fix it in the next patch. Play 1.4 for now with the knowledge that there is a nasty enemy force in Mission 3!
  17. OK, hopefully both versions should be up soon. You want RLoW v1.4 or 1.1 if you're using the Alt 1 version. Neither is up yet, but should be by tomorrow at the latest.
  18. Heh. Looks like we were posting at the same time. I'd also like to hear from you if you don't mind writing me a PM.
  19. Send me a PM with all the spoilers you want. We both playtested it, but I think we also already had the advance knowledge of the enemy positions! I'd be happy to tone down the enemy forces; just send me a PM and let me know what gave you the most problems, especially if you think it's unrealistic.
  20. Lethaface, you pretty much summarized my views on the topic exactly.
  21. 1.30 will come out with NATO, and if there are any bugs in 1.30 or NATO, BFC will probably patch them, but no new functionality will be added after NATO.
  22. The realism angle kind of goes out the window when you look at Clavicula_Nox's map again. How are they possibly going to get to Syria?
