  1. McMMM - Martin's Combat Mission Mod Manager is the way to go! You can also use it for CMBO / CMBB and any other "special" CM-installation (for example CMETO). Combat Mission Modification Database v2.0 is the place to get it! Hooray ! It's back online! Greetings, Hetzer38.
  2. I'll download your tutorial and give it a try once CMMODS is back online! Yes, it should be possible - Zim writes on his site: Thanks a lot for your quick reply !
  3. Oh boy - you make so sexy Mods! (...I really hope my wife doesn't read the stuff I post here...) Could you perhaps give a * short * description how to MOD a - let's say - Panzer II C to look like your Panzer IIIs / IVs ? I mean - I'd like to Mod a Panzer II C to have the same colour of grey like your Panzer IIIs / IVs... I now have Paint Shop Pro 7 - but I dunno how to use it to produce the desired colour - is there a way to "copy" your dusty-grey layer over a Panzer II C ? Should I use a "Modder's series" Panzer II C to begin with ? Would it be easier ? Thank you again for all your effort and your great work ! Greetings, Hetzer38.
  4. Edit: Ups, I didn't know that, Kingfish. ... but while we are at it... REPORT NO. 50 - HISTORICAL SECTION (G.S.) ARMY HEADQUARTERS - The Campaign in North-West Europe - Information from German Sources - Part II: Invasion and Battle of Normandy (6 Jun B 22 Aug 44) (pdf format, 381 pp) REPORT NO. 54 - HISTORICAL SECTION (G.S.) ARMY HEADQUARTERS - Canadian Participation in the Operations in North-West Europe, 1944 (pdf format, 253 pp) Regards, Hetzer38. [ January 14, 2007, 09:29 AM: Message edited by: Hetzer38 ]
  5. This "Flames of War" scenario is yelling to be converted to a CM-scenario: Bretteville-l’Orgeilleuse: Kurt Meyer’s Night Attack ...briefings, TOEs, historical info + a little Battlefield-map... Take also a look at these RAPID FIRE! scenarios (pdf format) Bretteville The Canadian Push on Carpiquet Airfield ...briefings, TOEs, historical info + good Battlefield maps... And last but not least, another very detailed Oob: 12. SS-Panzer-Division 'Hitler Jugend' (pdf format) Regards, Hetzer38.
  6. This should be useful: The Oob's and General Organization of the 12th SS-Panzerdivision "Hitlerjugend" Greetings, Hetzer. (Hmm, I think I should re-read "Panzermeyer's" book "Grenadiere"... ; - ) EDIT: Thank you very much Kingfish ! I really missed the "l". Sorry for that one! 7. "Why the Molotovs? Well, yea, lost my Ofenrohr, you know..." ("Ofenrohr" = Raketenpanzerbüchse 54 = "Panzerschreck")
  8. Yea, and better take a horseshoe or some other taliman with you before leaving your house! You rule man!
  9. If that ain't no sexy beast - than I really dunno! Great to see another WIP picture of your kickass-Panther-project! Rock on !
  10. Ha ! I figured it out ! JasonC and michael kenny are the same person! Happy new year to all of you !
  11. Well, yea, but it's still cooler to attack. Bugger the odds.
  12. Yea, that's the way to go man ! Really great news ! Kick it MikeyD ! Greetings, Hetzer.
  13. Merry christmas to you! Fröhliche Weihnachten ! Thank you very much for these great presents! Greetings, Hetzer.
  14. [AchtungPanzer] Here are some photos of Panzerkampfwagen I & II, 1939 : Below is a colour photo (most probably coloured b&w photo) of a Panzer II (1940 ?, to get an impression how dark RAL 7021 was: ...of course they won't look that dark with a ton of dust on top - but I still think your Panzer I / II needs to be darker. Greetings, Hetzer.
  15. Pat : I used Vossie grass mod before I decided to change for the existing in the mod, it all depends of the taste. The main problem lies in the low resolution (1024 x 768) of my Laptop I guess, I bet your grass Mod looks much better with higher resolutions! Pat : Don't understand, I look on the game and my t40 looks like camoed. t40 & t60 share the same bmps, in the JP2 scenario you have both, are you sure you got 1.03 patch ? Sorry, I fumbled the installation...I installed all the "Fall Weiss" Mods, and patched afterwards to 1.03 - clearly my fault, I should have read the installation-instructions more carefully! Installed the "Fall Weiss" bmps again, and now it works just fine ! Looking superb right now! Sorry to repeat myself, but the camo on the polish AFVs just looking great! Thank you very much Pat! I'm researching more info about "Fall Weiss" - maybe I find useful informations for more scenarios / etc. And I'll post some 1939 dunkelgrau Panzer II photos later ! Greetings, Hetzer.
  16. Thank you very much for your great work! I've played around with your "Fall Weiss"-Mod for the last few hours and it's great fun! I didn't like the open-ground grass mod though...(so I used Vossie's Open Ground-Mod instead, fits quite good). The light grey Panzer II colour - should be much darker IMO (like your Pz III). Really, the Panzer, Panzerspäh- and Halbkettenfahrzeuge should all have the same colour - dark Panzer-Grau. Could you please fix this someday in the future ? Oh, and before I forget, great work on the polish AFVs camo! Would be great if some scenario artists could create some historical scenarios...(most)Fall Weiss scenarios are a bit fishy at the moment...like, "Germans enter here and exit there"-briefings, with no date / unit-names... ...and why are the T-40s in "Panzerblitz Situatio JP2" not in polish camo ? Merry Christmas to all of you ! Greetings, Hetzer.
  17. Whatever you create, I'll downlaod and use it! Great stuff MikeyD! Thank you very much! And yea, please tackle the Panther!
  18. Well, I don't know the name of the Landser, but I do know why his buddy wasn't included on the "signal"-cover.... Just look at his face - doesn't look very "heroic" if you ask me. ( ...more like he just shat his pants...) I have another version of this photo featuring the two in a sligthly different pose (in: "Die Schlacht im Kursker Bogen; M.K.Barbier), but my scanner id dead....
  19. I get a lump in my throat just looking at our Regimental Colours every time they are on parade. As a junior NCO I will never have the honour of bearing them on parade (that distinction goes to subalterns only). This gentleman obviously missed the point entirely. He considers something an honour only if it involves extra pay? I think that says volumes about him right there. "Rodent" seems quite apt. ... </font>
  20. Verdammte Scheisse! Anyway, thank you very much for answering my question, Redwolf! (...who needs fancy graphics anyway...)
  21. Damn! So there's Zero chance to trick these virtual/panning/whatever resolutions into doing what I want ?
  22. Amazing work on this great Mod! Hats off to you, Patboy! Does this mean the R-35s can be used for the Mod? Or is it impossible 'cause Patboy is using Polish-textured-Russians ? (from the Achtung Panzer article mentioned earlier in this thread...) Wouldn't it be nice to use the Polish 21. Light Tank Battalion for some What-If / Fun-scenarios ? And maybe this is useful for you, Patboy? http://rapidshare.com/files/7058934/Fall__Weiss__1939.pdf (polish magazine about Fall Weiss) Good Luck with the work for "Fall Weiss"! Hetzer
  23. Schrullenhaft, thank you very much for answering to my question ! Correct, I increase my desktop resolution to 1600x1200 BUT I have to scroll around to see the whole screen - weird stuff...never experienced something like this with my home pc... I'm screwed ! Can't see it fully! And yes, 1024x768 @ 60Hz is the first resolution to choose from when my desktop is set to 1600x1200...damn! I've got the Catalyst 6.05 Omega 3.8.252. I really tried everything (I think) with the Catalyst control center...but I don't find the solution...oh my...could you please give me another hint ?
  24. And just for the fun of it, another one... Panzergrenadiere of the SS-Division "Götz von Berlichingen" mounted on a Sturmgeschütz III G during a counter attack on the Eastern Front. Winter, 1943. (from Squadron/Signal Armor No. 7 "Panzerjäger in Action)
