Nice response Clay. PFMM: the game is not perfect, BUT it is a fun game made by real people, who are committed to making it even more fun. I at no point have felt cheated or conned after purchasing the game. The community of players is, for the most part, mature and positive about the future of the game. I hope to see you, and other fence sitters, on one of the V1.02 soon. That's my two cents.

Ahhh....summer holidays. I have the next two months off and with the exception of a couple of weeks in late July, I will be looking to play at all sorts of odd times. Even though I live in EST (Toronto) I look forward to gaming with some of the Asian/Pacific/European players out there. I'll be scanning the servers on a fairly regular basis (a.k.a. when my wife isn't paying attention) to see if anyone's playing. Fight ya later!

I agree. Including turrets towards death or kill count is inaccurate at best. Other than a very close game of ctf, death/kill count doesn't count for much anyway.

Things are slowly coming along. There are more and more regulars on the servers each day....I've been having more fun at least.

I had a great time last night as well - although I lost all ability to play effectively as the night/beverages wore on,,,,

I just left the demo in place and, when sick of waiting, jump onto a demo server and kinda, well, I guess you could say help/slaughter the newbies, depending on my mood. Now I know it is important to be nice to the new players, but sometimes.....

...grumble...grumble..flag BAD!...grumble..grumble...fight GOOD!!!! Not just me thinking that, eh?

I live in Eastern Standard Time. I usually jump on as soon as I get home from work for a game or two (4-5pm EST), but do most of my extended gaming from about 8-10pm EST. I'll be looking for some of you tonight around that time, I hope. In the game my name is now Jung, but I remain Junglist at heart. Thanks for taking the initiative on this Yurch. Us paying customers need to get our act together and make this game as much fun as it can be. I'm sure the demoheads are wondering why there are always so few people playing on the 1.01 servers.

Whenever I attempt to initiate a vote to end scenario I am greeted with a message that "a vote is already in progress", or something of the sort. This happens when others are on the server, as well as when I'm the only one playing. Oh yeah, this probably belongs in a different thread, but I'm going to ask anyway: How do I send you a log of any crashes I might have? I use Mac OS and whenever I attempt to send a report the computer defaults to Apple as the intended location. I'm not sure how to change this so that my data can be forwarded-

The number of Hurricane's available was adjusted for a reason: there were too many of them zipping around blowing up everything, taking the fun out of other aspects of the game (ie tank warfare). I was initially drawn to the Hurricane due to the ease with which it scored hits/kills, but now get a lot more satisfaction from a perfectly placed 120mm shell. With the reduced number of available Hurricanes one must be much more careful, forcing players to use it in more of a support role - which is cool. Leave the slugging it out to the sluggers.

Not to be a total pain in the aspirin bottle, but Gnostic Ascension is running version 1.0, and I, being a good little updater, cannot join that server. I'll try the skipping scenarios advice for now I guess.

At the risk of sounding like a broken record, I really, really , really, really like the multiplayer aspect of the game, but I don't enjoy playing CTF by myself while waiting for players. Now, again correct me if I'm wrong, but all the servers seem to be CTF again. I did manage to play a couple of objective-style games 1 or 2 days ago, and wouldn't you know it, they were on the 2 same maps as the beta test! I'm sick of ice and snow for now. So, not to repeat my broken recordness, but please, please, please, please, please permanently switch one of the 1.01 servers to objective. If I'm totally losing my mind and everything is fine, pleas disregard the above plea. In regards to name change offer, I liked your Jung quote so much, and I'm so lazy, that I'll stick with Jung for know; hopefully, if the mood sways me in the future to revert to Junglist, I'll still be allowed to do so. Oh yeah, in case you haven't been told enough recently, your game, like, totally ROCKS! (or Discos or Hip Hops or whatever you might be into) PS Building more borrows as we speak.

So that is why some people always seem to have much longer deployment time than I do!

First off, I love the game. I only buy a new game about once a year and generally play the *bleep* out of it, and it looks like Drop Team is that game for awhile - at least until CM2 comes out! Now here's my one complaint....Capture the Flag sucks when there are not several people playing - at least two per team are required to not get bored. I personally love the multiplayer aspect of the game, but until people get bored of the solo campaign there will be a limited number on the servers, I understand that. What I don't understand, and correct me if I'm wrong, is why there are 3-4 servers running 1.0, all running CTF? And, yes I know I could run my own server, but this is something new me and.....I'm LAZY! I guess what I'm saying is I'd rather blow up bots than take flag, while I wait for other humans to join. Oh yeah, I guess it is my fault...the laziness thing again, but I didn't read the warning about not being able to change user names and shortened Junglist to Jung (lazy version); so now, rather than being identified as a raver and/or person who lives in a jungle, I'm identified as century old philosopher who was hung-up on his ancestors' experiences. Very scary!

Just finished trying out the new update and I too am very impressed with how much more smoothly it runs. Now if only version 1.0 were ready....

The tweaking has begun! I also like what you did with the Hurricane - forces it to be used in the role intended. The twin 76mm is great too. I find it frustrating to be outgunned by the 20mm triple shot, and avoid the 76mm for this reason. The twin turret makes this vehicles component killing capability far more attractive.

I've been having the same problem tonight. The number of players has been at zero for awhile so I'm assuming we're not the only ones unable to log on.

Is it only mac users who've been locked out? We've got few enough cool game options as it is.

Still hoping to play again some day...
