Probably for gameplay balance considerations.
Nope - rather because it is hard to hit a man-sized target at anything beyond 200 meters.

The Soviets didnt but the germans used stuka divebombers for precision bombing sometimes very close to the frontline, this would be great to have available in CMRT.
The Germans had long given up daylight divebombing attacks with Ju 87s by 1944.

Yes, these photos have been around forever online. Nothing new or unusual, despite what you may think.

I only found one Jpz38(t)/Hetzer version and couldn´t locate the Jpz IV (Late), it is mentioned in one of the formations but I wasn´t able to select it. Furthermore I didn´t find the StuG IIIG (Latest), the StuH42 (Latest), and the FW-190D9 aircraft.
The Fw 190 D-9 shouldn't be in the game, because there were none of them in this theatre of the war.

Why are you posting this stuff in this particular forum? The off-topic (read: non-CM discussion) section is down below.

I dont know if it's true but my Drill Instructors told us the M-16 was based on a Mattel toy rifle.
Hardly. That's an old myth that just won't die.

IIRC leadership has an effect on their morale, but not their ability to aim?
Leadership has nothing to do with troops' ability to aim.

As for the dummy Javelin in the pic, judging from the helmet, that soldier is SOF, and it's entirely possible real training is being done using a mockup of at least all-up Javelin system service weight.

My only guess would be not allow taking SMG´s for "balancing" reasons since at close ranges these are the most deadly firearms. Got to watch out for any possible Sturmgewehr 44 restrictions as well.
That has nothing to do with it.

@Falaise, thank you, I will have a look.
@Falaise, I had a look at this one in the scenario editor, and it looks like there was bug with the uniforms back at the time this scenario was created. When I created a new scenario with that particular unit, the guy with the beret is depicted properly with a steel helmet.

I posted about this months ago, and no, mods have nothing to do with this.
Mods definitely are having an effect here, because the uniforms patently do not look like that in the stock game.

So, WTH does this have to do with CM?

Bug: bullets seem to stick to the top of stone walls, when fired at them.
It really, really, really helps to provide a save file and some more context.

Here is a interesting article on the German Navy and Marines (who knew they had a Marine force).
"Marines" in this context were just unemployed sailors who were handed a rifle and thus became really low-grade infantry. The same thing occurred on the Eastern Front with Soviet sailors of the Black Sea Fleet. They were not in any way, shape, or form like the USMC or Royal Marines.

So the Canadian soldiers ingame currently do not have the correct pouches for their gear (I.e. the grenadier has no grenade pouches, the AR is using regular 30rd mag pouches) whilst every other faction has this set up. Will the Canadians get updated?
Thanks, I've reported the issue.

I'll restate - if I want a dropbox/host/etc... to document an issue with BFC --- I'd have one.
I'm not opening an account simply to send a savegame to a vendor. I don't even like my first born that much!
So, what exactly is the big deal with creating a (free) Dropbox account?

Aye'up.....Here's The Grinch.
Yep, here's the guy wondering what you think needs balancing, when (1) you know darn well the game has never been about balance and (2) all you give is a cryptic statement with a wink emoji in your arguing for the game needing to be balanced.
So, champ, tell us then: what needs to be changed in the name of balance? Don't be shy now.
