Apparently there are atheists in foxholes, so maybe...

"Currently, over seven percent of U.S. military personnel in combat zones are officially listed as Atheists. Several armed services have stopped requiring incoming soldiers to pledge to God in their allegiance speech. Even the army doesn’t truly believe there are no Atheists in foxholes."

Dude, stay on topic, for goodness sakes.

ISIS's use of one or more massive, armoured VBIEDs (a sort of precision airstrike-equivalent) to blast their way into prepared positions, followed by an immediate aggressive ground attack, has been very effective against even battle-hardened fighters like the Kurds and the Syrian army and overwhelmed parts of the Iraqi army, with small numbers of attackers. So I don't think that uncons should necessarily be so weak and fodder for conventional troops.

You are entirely missing the point that has already been made, namely that the game isn't about post-war counterinsurgency operations or an entity like ISIS rising to power. If you want uncons that have some serious capabilities, then use the Fighters group instead of combatants.

The problem is that when I descend to ground level when watching replays, U.S. Army soldiers insist on referring to each other as "Marines."  Lots of "Lets go, Marines!" and that sort of thing.  I had been under the impression that the Army and Marines were intended to have separate sound files in-game.  If so, then Marine sound files have infiltrated the Army's defenses.  (At some cost to immersion).

That has to be a mod issue.

When you put people in an insane environment they can't help but do insane things, it's the only way to survive.

So, when was the last time you were in an "insane environment" i.e., in a hot conflict zone? I served with plenty of people in said insane environments, and none of them had to resort to insane actions in order to survive.

I'm with sburke on this - no servicemember is above being held accountable for his actions, and if it turns out he was in the wrong, then so be it.

Hardly fawning admiration, I just have massive respect for any nation that can take 25-30 million casualties and still kick the living **** out of their aggressor.

Yeah, call me weird, but I have zero respect for governments that have murdered and imprisoned countless millions without batting an eyelash.

Now the refugees tell me, america make shooting around the mine(s), when everyone is fled they move in. 2 week later there is a big fence around the mine and the resources are stolen and go "somewhere else" but no longer to afghanistan. That is reality, they have seen it,

Yeah, color me skeptical about that sort of report. People said the same sort of thing about Iraq ("blood for oil!!!!!!!). If that sort of thing has really been going on, someone would have reported it by now.
