  1. thanks guys so the reference made with regard the pershing and king tiger on the back of my cd box is a typo/boo boo made by the box printer
  2. on the back of my africa korps cd case it says it is included but i have never been able to find it .was it deleted from the finished product, and what other equipment that was supposed to be included that did not make it

  4. have a question i hope some one can answer not relating to the game it concerns tank night vision sights reading through a couple of different books giving specs on various tanks the night vision section has me confused .russian tanks and early us/nato had active infra red .fine modern us/nato have passive imaging or thermal imaging .is passive and thermal the same thing .if not what is the difference.how they work
  5. highlander the rifle equipped italian infantry are supposed to represent early ww1 german infantry some one here had made a ww1 scenario cant find thread now .but i dont want the demo packs and was trying to find an easy way of removing them. thanks anyway
  6. i am using the italian pioneers because they all have rifles but they also carry demolition packs as well which mean i have to manually edit out the demolition pack from each unit. what i want to know is can i create 1 pioneer unit with no demolition pack save the file open the file on the hard drive folder and cut/paste exact copies of this unit (something like notebook?) dont know what the file/format units are kept in so might not be possible for above to work
  7. think when tow came out it put an end to it with tow you can use any vehicle/tank on any front use captured weapons etc and even mod the one tank to make another (sherman/firefly) according to some of the posts here needs a few patches yet but otherwise is cmc replacement . do not have tow myself yet, just what i read here.

  9. if you drive or involved with above can you tell me what engines are currently fitted to above. detroit diesel 6v-53t or caterpiller no(?)or what different sources say different things
  10. thanks guys john you always have a answer for our questions was trying to create a campaign where the us stayed neutral no military exports (engines etc) that rules out later marks of val tank also canadian/australian/new zealand manufactured vehicles all parts imported engines us even the bren/universal carrier had a ford v8 85hp engine. a rethink is in order
  11. looking for info on canadian made vehicles/tanks with canadian made engines trucks ???? valentine ix engine general motors diesel was that a copy of a us engine or imported directly from us sherman grizzly canadian m4a1 copy,with ford v8 gaa also continental r975 copies or import any other vehicles you can think of tried googling but all i get is info on some vehicles but nothing on where the engines are produced

  17. saw a unit in the game the other day that had pioneers and engineers ,always thought they carried out the same tasks in the game so could some one tell me what the difference is and while you are at it ,please include sappers in the topic

  23. i have seen that all the mods are replacement texture etc for in game models is there a reason that new/missing vehicles and equipment have not been created (hard wired into sim?) what if the cummunity created these missing items and submitted them to battlefront for inclusion in patches ,something along the lines of ic maddox flightsimulator series
  24. there were a number of engagements fought in this theatre? would have liked to have seen some french tanks and armoured cars included like the old ft17 tank ,laffy and panard armoured cars
