    Actually now that I think about it, CMCW is a poorly named game... it should've been called "Combat Mission: Shock & Thunder" or sumfink.

    Like many people, I've often considered ng Cavscout to be one of the Cesspools slowest, most short-sighted & dim-witted members... however he does have the very fine trait of being an easy win.

    Although I did indeed raise him to Serfdom during a particuarly severe bout of reckless & shameful inebriation, it should be remembered that a Serf is considered to be the property of the whole Cesspool... he's ours now.

    Although, to be fair, his simplistic observations can be surprisingly accurate... "Boo is a twat" sounds almost poetic.

    This goes doubly (if not triply) for a Knight like Boo!

    Legends age into myths and I distinctly recall Boo's "learning the game" excuses back in the day.

    Now Boo is slower than most (and I should know, as the blessed honour of Squiring me was granted to him) but just how many decades should it really take for anyone to learn that "selecting every unit & giving them fast forward orders" is not the optimal way to play CM?

    Still, seeing this once adequate Knight of the glorious Cesspool reduced to wandering around the outerboards begging for a sympathy game, troubles me.

    It's not roight & proper!

    The course will be as tough as my frontal armour, as arduous as my machine gun fire & as stressful as my HE rain but, perhaps, these lessons will sink in better than those personal hygiene tips I once gave you.

  5. When integrating your mods & scenarios into the updated CMFI 'All in One' I found a lot of untagged Sicily mods were perfectly applicable to CMAK2... I suggest making sure that all [afrika] scenarios are set in the Sicily months, which avoids activating any [mainland] or seasonal tags. Also don't forget the British shorts option!

    I intend to look into the modpack again eventually, especially the buildings, as I noticed issues with damaged roofs & walls.

    However overall I'm pretty happy with the 'All in One' version of [afrika] which has weathered vehicles, Aris's very dusty Germans, Kieme's desert terrain & a new mod you might like (designed to help represent US 37mm ATG's as British 2lbers).

    The Mods are not working.

    @Requin87 made a recent video about how to get mods working on Steam.

    It's a video about Winter mods but the principles are the same... hey at least you got the campaigns/scenarios working so you're half way there!

    When I get round to updating H&E I'll have to pay more attention to the Steam Users (CMSF2 was released on Steam in-between "The Open Beta" & "The People Beta").

    Objectives on... we have other ways of hiding things from or decieving the player.

    Odd... are all the other mods working? Sounds & music? UI? Loading screens? M16's, uniforms & jungle terrain?

    I only recently updated to 5.1 and was unaware that there's already a new update.

    Subscribers to my channel will be aware that I use reshade a lot, post my own reshade profiles & that my tastes have changed over time.

    These days I tend to use a combination of Pirate-Bloom & HDR to help brighten the game up. I also have a few unique & interesting reshade profiles like 'Nightvision' (which relies on Arcane Bloom) & 'Desert' (which comes with a heathaze effect).

    The Syrian vehicles are almost entirely from @dpabrams old CMSF "Euroscape" mod & they're indeed very cool... I only had to make a few tweaks, rename a few bitmaps & fill a few missing gaps as part of the CMSF2 upgrade process.

    The only current version of H&E is "The People's Beta" (aka H&E version 0.97).

    The next version is still WIP but has been delayed by my various "side projects" & the current war in Ukraine.
