  3. Ian you might want to take a look at your Coy mortars. They are firing only on the map edge of the village. Your FO left them hanging perhaps?
  4. Ok, got Axis Turn 003. Order received Chappy! I am in charge of A company, recce carriers,armoured cars and one of the two FO's.. I will do my Turn 003 save and post it to save folder. @grunt_GI can you post your email address then we can coordinate!
  5. Thanks Philip. I am awaiting further orders from our CO Chappy and Axis Turn 003. Phil regarding the operational map in post 289, would it be possible in the future to use different colours for Axis & Allied units and lines. I think this would enchance map readability.
  6. Questions: So the 'slugfest' battle is myself, player A in charge of A Company and grunt_GI in command of B company only? This is a 4 player Pbem game with me doing the first save turn then posting it to save move folder where grunt_GI picks it up, adds his move and posts this with the correct file name and number. It is important that no one's delete the previous files otherwise Player B and D will not be able to see the action move. And no battle objectives apart from attrition, correct? And any intel about expected enemy forces?
  7. Nice, an ATG's wet dream! Works OK on my newish PC. Does the map have both Axis and Allied OoB's yet (I am wondering about the final .ema file sizes)
  8. Hex 3,7 battle finished. After losing both his ATG's, the enemy withdraws North, off the map. My losses , several scouts, 2 armoured cars and one recce carrier.

  10. Are we expecting an armoured Axis counter attack next campaign turn? And are friendly reinforcements en route?
  11. 29-31/40 minutes. After heavy infantry losses I am just trying to get a small foothold in the town before the next battle begins.
  12. My guess would be a company of standard infantry with a battery of ATG's in support as well as 1 or two off map 81mm mortars. No sign of any Stug's or other armour
  13. 17-18th minute. A small vignette from the struggle for the Grain elevator, those towering temples to bread and pasta.

  21. Thanks Chappy! I hoping to get a foothold at least into those aforementioned 3 probe routes. I do not think I have sufficient infantry or time to take the whole of the green objective zone. At least then if there is a rematch on this battle, I will have good starting points for taking the town! New infantry trenches spotted from SW. Do you think I should use my main 8 Gun barrage on the woods or continue to concentrate on the town bearing in my it would be around a 9 minutes delay? I hope our CiC Nathangun does not demote me after this battle Latrine duty maybe!
