  1. At CMMODS in CMAK, DD Barbed Wire Fence J2D DD's Barbed Wire Fence Revised for CMAK. I doubled the number of posts and made posts from CMAK tree trunks, to make a fence that is compatible with CMAK terrain and easier to see. It still tends to vanish from higher view levels. Check with the local farmers to determine if wire fence is used in their area. Back up your files. Use with McMMM and swap with other fence mods as appropriate. The jpeg is bigger than the zip file.
  2. FOUND IT AT THE BLITZ 507kb, took a while to get through my anti virus but I got it. If you can't dl it let me know. Read the text on the page. It may not be what you wanted.
  3. FWIW, on my planet, I never have to "switch sides" in the preview map screen in the editor. I can move EITHER side reinforcemnet flags, trps, trenches, troops, avfs, you name it, one at a time or in groups.
  4. There was a barbed wire fence mod for BO that replaced the hedge bmps. THIS is not that one. This is a fence mod done by DD here at CMHQ for CMBB I found it to be too small to see. In MS paint, I pasted new posts over the original wire. IIRC I made the bmp four posts instead of two. I will check later. If anyone can verify if I need DD's permission, I could put the mod up at cmmods.
  5. You might as well get cmmos to do the pacific mod. Go to www.cmmods.com , go to cmbo, click by designer, on the right window find MikeT and click, then all and other. Download the cmmos 4.05 and the cmbo rulesets. Once you have that installed in the same drive letter as your cmbo install, get the mods. They are at cmmods under designer CMMOS. There is a pack of battles for the pacific mod. Enjoy and don't hesitate to contact MikeT if you have a problem. If you have enough space on your harddrive, you might concider a second install just for the pacific.
  6. And Mikey you know I have tried, but the sizes just dont match up and I havent been able to stretch or shrink them yet. I do think the turret bmp will work, but for now....
  7. I am only talking about positioning troops in the editor when creating a battle and wanting to move a "mass" of units.
  8. Which brings up the question, are you trying to use CMBB mods in CMAK?
  9. SPMBT has quite a following. It is strategy, modern, and free. I also read the SP Camo group is going to make a Windows friendly version soon.
  10. Been a while since I played BO. 3. Varible endings are in BB and AK indicated by a plus sign. 1. When you get my age, the bases wont be big enough. 2. If you are not using cmmos, then the bmps with more than a number wont work. You probably unzipped a cmmos mod into your bmp folder. You might as well delete them. The pacific mod is at cmmods. It is a cmmos mod. If you need help with that, just ask.
  11. Thanks. All that stuff is for CMAK. You should get the game. 3. Don't know, never used it. 1. lol, you can make the units bigger to make the base look smaller. 2. When I get home tonight I'll have a look at my folders. I am not that familiar with cmmos.
  12. No, I am talking about the editor. I just converted four CMBB battles to CMAK and had to place all the units for both sides in their original locations.
  13. 1. no 2. Do these bmps show up in the game?
  14. IIRC, It is DD's fence mod, adapted to CMAK. The original had two post. CMAK stretches the tile differently, so I made some posts from CMAK trees, etc etc, then made a winter version. Do you need a CMAK or CMBO version?
  15. Strange, I have the USA BFC version of CMAK and I have never used the / and have moved troops by either double clicking the co or click and drag. However, if using setup zones, units that may fall outside of their zone, will not move. IOW you double click the co and the last squad box is yellow. If the line for that squad is inside setup zone, make sure that the rest of the platoon will fit inside the zone.
  16. Nice to see you back again. This new texture has a lot of value as soft ground in other places besides the beach. Thanks for it.
  17. Ypsilanti, Michigan, USA Edit, compared to the Finns, it's not so bad, lol And I moved far, far away.
  18. The only Greek modern history I know is that my home town was founded in the early 1800's and named after Demetrius Ypsilanti, a famous Greek general of the times.
  19. as far as i can tell as far as i know iirc if i remember correctly
  20. I see sometimes with the current system, a huge map, with a smaller battle area in the middle. the side areas are cut off by water and woods, etc to prevent afvs from going into the edge areas. Troops can still go there, but it is risky and slow going and without your afv support. It is also risky because you are spliting your forces if your main objective is straight ahead. Works for me. Your idea above, combined with the game engine creating a random sides map to the designers original map, might work somewhat like this example.
  21. McMMM will do all the stripping for you. Load the cmmos mod and it will make a new zip without the extensions, labeled exCMMOS....
  22. I think my problem is as you stated. I haven't yet mastered the use of arcs. In fact I rarely use them. Guess it's time.
  23. Maybe what he is asking is a problem I face. If I get my HQ where he can los the enemy, it seems the enemy can los him. Is there a binocular range advantage for HQ's so that they are not spotted? Am I moving my HQ too close?
  24. I forgot about that little detail. I must have been thinking about on board.
  25. The AI may have run out of regular rounds and used up what it had left, smoke rounds.
