Just to let you know, it works fine in CMAK. I was going to ask for a snowy version, but the spirit of the mod dictates that the dirt be on top of the snow. My only critique would be that the edges are too straight. Very minor and not worth changing if even possible. I appreciate your mods and the effort. Thanks This will work well in Korea where troops were making hasty retreats then ordered to stand and fight.

WW2 - Center of Military History Releases Set 3

Is there something similar for Marines in the PTO? -
DEY latest Stug IV WW has some nice textures that I don't remember seeing before. Good job. I think daffey should raise the modding bar by adding some snow on top of the whitewash. Didn't it snow on these afvs? Like the CMBO snowy mods. Opinions? tooz?

Best Way to Restore v1.01??
junk2drive replied to kenfedoroff's topic in Combat Mission: Afrika Korps
Another suggestion, a second install. Then copy over the folders: bmp, scenarios, saved games, quick battle maps, and wav, provided you have changed these with mods and downloads, over the folders in the second install. You will then have a 1.0 version of what you had before, hopefully. Apply the 1.01 patch that you saved somewhere on your computer in a separate file. Notice I didn't suggest copying the pbem folder. I don't know what the 1.02 may have done to that. Best to wait for a fix, but at least you could play AI while you wait. -
I got it before it listed the bmp numbers, you must have just finished. Then I installed it with McMMM and checked out a few battles. You have a great eye for color. It goes well with the roads and buildings, and mods like Gurra's open ground and OSF rocks. Thanks again

BIG Thank you!

Any better screenshot than above? Doesn't matter, I'll dl it anyway and try it out

Hey ED I checked my mailbox, lunchbox, front step, email, cmmods, everywhere for the muddy water mod. Are you just teasing me

At cmmods under CMAK search for Korea It should list the mods I have done. Hans has a couple of battles at TSD and more in the works. It is only an imitation of the Korean war using CMAK units.

Thanks for that link. I had a quick look. Wish the pictures were bigger. I'll do some research.

Hi Lucho, you still visit here. The Illu battle I have saved at turn 9. Too bad we cannot have different bmps for ocean and rivers. You need to finish your Vietminh battle. It is a tough one.

Cute exerpt of a story on shortages of materials for the Canadians. The writer also complains of WWII bolt action rifles against Chinese automatic weapons. "Our troops had beer, but no modern weapons. American troops, had modern weapons but no beer. So unofficial deals were made; a sort of early free trade agreement. "A lieutenant, myself and another corporal went down to Pusan with our jeep to do some trading," Hibbs recalls. "What my colonel or my major wanted was a jeep trailer, and two walkie-talkies, that was what our project was. So we went downtown to Pusan and I had to look around, I found an American GHQ, general headquarters, and I went in there to the sergeant on duty. He asked me what have I got to trade and I got a bottle of rum out of the jeep. "I said, 'I need a trailer.' "He says 'I'll get you one, I'll get you one.' "So I gave him the bottle, I got the two walkie-talkies, the two 45's. And about ten minutes later he comes driving up with a two-and-a-half-ton truck with a two-and-a-half-ton trailer on the back, and says 'There's your trailer.'" "And I said, 'I can't pull that. I have only got a jeep.'" "He said, 'Well take the truck.' So I did."

Rupert, I had another look at MD's site. I think Andrew's green demin mid-late war unis are a good choice for Brits and Canadians. I could make a USA set for the Canadians, but I would need a scenario for them before I go through the work. I do have all of the CMBO CW camos and browns that people made. Some of the camo is really good. For Summer CW you can use my Pacific green CW mod.
