whem i first got the demo, i kept hovering my mouse over the ground waiting for popups, right clicking for los, movement per turn, etc. do like click and drag to move whole groups of troops. get down with the boys and check los the real way. havent played sp since, this is so easy to mod too!

aaaah, a steel panthers player. you wont find a lot of things in cm series that you find in other "games". it takes a while to get use to, but i think you will find it more realistic to play games with less recon and intel. if youve played spwaw h2hfr vs spwaw you know what i mean. different strokes etc

If BFC would give us the lists of bmp's and wav's, life (or lack thereof) would be so much easier. How about you beta testers and designers? Are you holding out on us? lol Paul's Pac Progress

shhhhhhhhh im supposed to be working right now lol its not really a "mod" yet, just changing bmp by trial and error, using gd's bmp lists, and what i can find on the net. i'll see what i can do over the weekend but i have company coming.

I've been messing with a second install of cmbb for pacific. got the uniforms done, made an island map, made flags, icons, tanks, guns etc. lots of work, lots of fun. i can post links later if anyone wants.

Can someone send to me, or point me to, the Pacific Mod. MikeT is going to repost it, but I'm impatient as always. Bound and determined to do pto with cmak or cmbb. I have the files at Japanzer's site. Thanx

hey bel, if you are playing cmbb as russians, they just stink!!! only thing worse is moving spotter for 10+ turns only to find out fire wont show up until after game is over.

weird stuff lou try PCmechanic go to the forums and post your prob in general hardware. many helpful experts should have an answer esp with your specs included with your post

i have had no problem with cmak and mcafee but my cmbb se cdv version goes nuts with mcafee on. finally found the right click on tray icon, disable, does the trick.

Ok now write one on arty. My problem: large map, move spotter forward for los. find enemy. target enemy. fire to start in 25 turns, now turn 20 of 40. what am i doing wrong?????

are you converting a tiny file or a folder full of files? i did the whole cw sound mod file in a few minutes on a 1.2 duron 512 ram.

I found some shoulder icons at www.cc5trainingcenter.com click on ranks, they have usa and german stripes and bars. I right click and save picture as... (winxp) to my pictures. Then view, rename to bmp number and copy to bmp file. Only problem, 43x40 size is too small and trying to make them bigger distorts the image. I used master sgt for tanks, sgt for squads. Any gurus out there can help?

search in cmbb forum for sound mod. titled soundmodsluts... capt wacky's sound mod dl includes a convertor mpeg suite.

a. i like the pto b. i like infantry battles with armor support. c. i didnt care for the east front but bought the game anyway and found out i enjoy it! d. i hope someone does a mod for pto like the one for cmbo. i dont care if its accurate, in cmbb there are fanatic troops and crummy tanks for the japs and tough germans for the marines. it could be done.

I live in the arizona desert. my commute includes a shortcut of 2 miles of "dirt" road. speed 35-45 mph. i can see other vehicle dust trails in the near distance, and my own out the back. in terms of turn time one minute, my dust lasts one to two turns on calm days, not long when windy 20-30 mph. never been to afrika tho. dust never lasts when im hiding, last too long when im trying to shot at the enemy, lol

sorry, overenthusiastic kudos turned into disrespect. what i was refering to is the cake iceing treatment on the window sills etc. i just prefer your viewpoint so to speak.
