  1. mine didnt work at first. i suspect you need to restart the computer after the install.
  2. McMMM will remove the extentions into new zips. but first wait for a reply on cmmos. why not get the new cmmos 4.05 at cmmods? and all the new zips.
  3. I have uploaded a Chi Nu PZIVH and included two bmps for the PZIVG. the bmps fix the wheel box and a revised rear panel. The green IJA IT ew uniforms, have a mistake. 9759 should be 9758. 9759 is ital para squad. The tan unis can be copied and renumbered for the ital motor troops using the green mod numbers as a guide. coming soon, marder II / ho ni

  5. if you havent been to taki's home page in a while or never, it has some new photos of ija armor and afvs. great source for mods or scenarios for the pacific.

  7. in 2001, three long years ago, i bought a hp p111 1g 128 ram win me for >900 it now has 256 and win xp and is still slow so whatever you buy wont do in 3-5 years
  8. well dip me in sheep stuff, cmmos is working for me. decided to give it another try. noticed some us armor that didnt show up before. i started trying pacific mods... yee haa.. it works. thanks mike and all of the workers. and i'll use mcmmm for non cmmos.

  10. i looked the cmbo pac mod and some other bo mods. i have a hard time finding color photos of pto. i watch "color of war" on the history channel. my guess is that tanks are harder to spot coming ashore if a darker color.
  11. i, for one, wouldnt mind at all. i also plan to do the reverse, recommending battles and ops that work well as pacific battles at my website.

  14. lol, i take a lot of time trying. i had done japanzer's toldi cmbb to pz iv g. i opened that folder side by side with the cmmos pac mod folder. trial and error and make some new bmps from what i have. i will zip it up for you at cmmods. the back end is a problem, but doesnt look too bad.
  15. glad you like them. i just went through the bmps for bb and ak and found the ones i liked and looked most like the pics i have found. most of my stuff can be copied and renumbered for ew mw lw allies and axis. for german hq's that use a hat, i use cmbb soviet hat with a yellow star on the front.
  16. part of my utah beach mod is a church converted to grey panels to represent a ship. place 8inch spotters on the top floor. a modder could use parts of this concept without the terrain mod.
  17. i've updated my website with some new pics. usmc uniforms from the cmmos pacific mod, chi-nu tank from zimorodok's cmbo mod. tan and green ija uniforms for ew italians are at cmmods now. i'm working on marine airborne uniforms based on pics in the book grunt gear.
  18. i tried using ms paint to spray black soot on some building bmps to get the damage effect. square pixels = no good. but i like your idea of "fixing" damaged ones. copy and paste sections. i'll try it.
  19. from here combat mission normandie you can dl all of magua's normandy mod for cmbo, non cmmos. i unzipped them into folders, renumbered and made copies as necessary. for sky, correct me if wrong, cmak uses one bmp 1024x512 for east, one for north south and one for west. i opened with paint 1400, pasted magua's 1024x256 to the bottom and saved to a folder (not the game bmp folder) made a copy 1420 and 1440. zip and swap with mcmmm. this is for clear daytime. for winter i used cmbb 1400, 1420, 1440 pasted to the larger cmak sky. you can play around with the others, but it is time consuming. there are lots of bo sky mods to try this way. trees are numbered differently too. but you can pick a few from bo mods and renumber to ak, be careful of the bmp shape and size.
  20. bo bmp numbered buildings different than bb and ak. there are more buildings too. i use juju's berlin buldings for large and a collection of bo bldgs renumbered for ak. there is a damaged bldg mod at cmhq for cmbo, but only covers some of them and no snow. see my site
  21. anti virus? check your scheduled tasks for anti virus checking for updates.

  23. i give up, i cant see the forest for the trees obviously. mike i emailed you my error log. if i click on add mod i get error. if i click add ruleset, it cant find it cause its inside the zip. if i extract the rules to a file i get errors.
  24. i know about the loading graphics thing. i did not click the other "rules" only the lower, checked the box for garand w/bayonet, clicked done. i did wonder why there were two icons. how do you know when there are advanced rules?
  25. gvt, i generally dont care how accurate the force makeup is. i just like to play the game. if you do the setup, and send it to hans, i'll bet he would make a good briefing and map. dont forget that you can set the fanaticism to better portray your soldiers.
