Hi can anyone recommend and good mission packa from CMBO. I was goggling here and there but nothing interesting came up. Goggle web cache has showed a page called cmbo big oracle. The text on the page says: "CMBO Scenario PACKS" 443 of the best Scenarios for Combat Mission: Beyond Overlord, separated in three packs: tiny to small in size and less than 25 turns long, ideal for fast TCP/IP battles, and medium to large in size, ideal for PBEM battles" Unfortunately the page is from cache and real link are dead. Does anyone have the pack or got the url pointer ? Thanks

self-reply just to let you know... the problem was solved, it was faulty hardware - graphic card... we swapped it for same model of the same producent and all the flickering was gone.

shimmering... can anyone explain this to non native english... other words please... the symptoms here are that parts of the terrain, for example a tree, a building blink here and there in random order... sometime more often sometime less... the weird thing is that this things happens not only im cm series but also in other games im running, ie. lock on, il2, operation flashpoint... so it looks like this is rahter hardware related bug or hardware fault than the game. a local guru here says it might be graphic card overheating or something like this... on the other hand this is brand new machine no overcloking tweaking etc. etc. just runs as received from stock. any helps hints... shall i switch graphic card to see if the problem disappears ? suggestions welcome and thanks

Hi is anyone else experiencing texture flickering during the game (same for bo, bb, ak). The hardware here is PIV, with lots of ram, Gainward Geforce 5900XT with 128MB DDR RAM, Win XP Home. Latest nvidia drivers and dirext 90b installed. Need help !! Kris

Just thinking, do people use shoot and scoot order. Is it any way better than combining normal hunt/move to contact / reverse orders ? What is the exact execution/semantics of shoot and scoot. It is: 1) move to shoot wpt as fast as possible, fire, retreat 2) move to waypt, fire at will during moving, retreat etc. etc Kris
