  1. if you have mcafee, disable virus scan is not enough maybe. task mgr will show other "mc" things running. just an idea.
  2. if it is a cmmos mod and if you use mcmmm, it might separate the trees from the rest of the mod. then you can choose not to install the trees. am i making sense?
  3. what do you have on your ide ribbon cables? a slow drive will slow a fast drive. try one hdd and one cd/dvd on each cable.
  4. if it was a cmbo mod, the tree numbers are different. try sdogs or ed kinneys (tal) trees for cmbb.
  5. hi lucho, yep its yours. i was going to blank it out, but thought you might like to see it. with trees at extreme, i cant see my troops, lol sgtduke, click the link. it tells a short history of each regiment. i would love to have the book, grunt gear, but the $80 price tag is tough to overcome.
  6. I revised my Chi Nu mod, new bmps at CMMODS, in a separate zip.
  7. I've updated my website with new pics. Main screen is my Pacific Palms tree mod now at CMMODS. Thanks to MikeT and all who mod for us. Do a cmak search for pacific to see my mods or by designer. after reading about airborne marines at 1st marine division assoc. i haven't decided what to do with my airborne uniforms. the book Grunt Gear, shows a photo of a grey jumpsuit, i made into a uni. i may use the green/grey cmbo mod unis for regular grunts and camo for the airborne/raiders. i've been playing with stock cmak ew usa unis to grey them up to sage green. Dan Marsh's Raiders page at this link, gives the force makeup of his unit. a boys rifle and brit 2inch mortar? good read. see ya

  9. thanks, moop. i doubt i will release a package. i would rather instruct people to do their own. the megabytes are just too big for some things. if you already have the cmbo cmmos mod, use mcmmm to create a non-cmmos mod for cmak. or i renumber exsisting bmps, zip them up and swap with mcmmm. i do trial and error. some work, some dont. i just did the desert sand 1850-1869 to italy dirt 1570-1589. 3.87mb zip. why upload what you already have? otoh things i spend time redoing i will upload so you dont have to. my new main page pic is desert sand, cmbo pac palm trees (i selected the bmps that work), treebases, and richard's brush (at cmhq-cmmos cmbo). first i tried the pacific bo mod with mcmmm. nope. trees are different, some went sideways. but treebases went fine, but the color isnt right with cmak palms. then i tried different treebases and brush bmps from cmhq until i had what i like. keep an eye out, i will upload some things soon. trees will be today.

  12. two sticks afaik, thats why they sell them in matched pairs. you would need four slots and i dont think the os or the bios could handle it. i still dont know if 1.5 three is slower than 1024 dual. i thought the idea of dual ddr was not to have to buy three sticks. i could be wrong. still out of my price range now.
  13. i just made a "cave" wood bunker from a screenshot of grassy terrain. when i checked it in game, i couldnt find it cuz the camo was so good. lmao
  14. go to pcmech.com forum, general hardware has a sticky on ram. i posted a q long ago about ddr2, the next money taker. there are a few things there about dual ddr. i am concidering two 512s on an asus board. kingston etc have matched sets just for dual boards. i dont think i need more than that for what i do. try newegg, crucial, and kingston websites too.

  16. the tbm ardennes mod bits i put at cmmods are numbered for snow, deep snow. uncle tgt's are numbered for light snow. you can of course renumber the tbm to light snow numbers. tbm is more green, early winter, uncles is more brown, mid to late winter or muddy, imo. cmbo terrain sometimes stretches funny in bb and ak, but is acceptable most of the time. the treebases in tbm showed as little squares of grey and black in ak. the plowed field as brush looks good though. the roads i didnt try yet.

  18. hi, a lot of cc and steel panthers players have come to the cm series. if you modded cc, you will love cm. so much easier to mod. order cmak direct from battlefront. they give good service, and keep all the money. that way they can support us and develop the next generation game.
  19. oddball, under cmbb mods at cmmods, uncle tgt has done some terrain mods that i think work well in cmak as nw europe. at my website is a screenie from cmak.

  22. i think you need cmmos 4.05 to work. search cmbo, by designer, miket, other. install 4.05 over 4.03
  23. for the new cmmos 4.05 and cmbo rulesets go to cmmods, cmbo, search by designer, miket, other the mods are listed as designer cmmos
