Are Iron Mike Tyson & RamboLegend in the same situation?
Korut Zelva replied to jon_j_rambo's topic in Strategic Command 1
Yes Hear the glorious tales of Rambo's legendary valor Featuring -Shopping at Walmart -Getting pissed at a cpu game -Arguing clerks to get a refund surely someones got to make a movie out of this On other news: Nobel prize of physics goes to Korut Zelva for his 'Rambo Paradox' theory. The theory states that more Rambo claim he's too busy/cool, the more he'll post on the battlefront message board. [ June 09, 2005, 11:19 AM: Message edited by: Korut Zelva ] -

Korut's walk of shame: First Opponent Rannug
Korut Zelva replied to Korut Zelva's topic in Strategic Command 1
Operation 'pop corp' continues, liberated from the constraint of maintaining many armies (one french army left) france is producing a corp a turn. Which is about the rate germany can take them down since she has to rely mostly on corp and air. UK generals debating if they should pursue the air campaign vs germany to keep on the mpp drain or switch to corp building for the possible sealion. An unnamed general was quoted saying "we don't need no stinkin' army, time is our best defense!" [ June 08, 2005, 06:04 AM: Message edited by: Korut Zelva ] -

Rannug is right on my naval count If I remember correctly France got about 10 land unit (including Weygrand) and UK about 6-7 (Including Monty) UK got three Air (2 airfleet + bomber) Germany got like 12 land unit (including 3 HQ, bought manstein) and 4 Air If this keeps up, he'll have to use balkan minor armies if he ever hopes to get La Ville Lumière. -

The allies sub hunt turns ugly: 1 BB sunk, 2 cruisers damaged, as a consolation prize both subs are down for the count French military advisors are sent to belgium to organise the defense. -
My goal is to score one victory during the whole tourney. If I reach it, my head will explode from the ego pressure. Presenting Battle of the wireless guys in pbem color Starring Rannug as Axis (for 175) and for the first time on screen Korut Zelva as Allies

if no top seat is willing to take rambo's place, I can so the tourney continues well you know, someone got to be in last place...

Overstrenghting industry
Korut Zelva replied to Korut Zelva's topic in Strategic Command 2 Blitzkrieg and Weapons and Warfare
Yeah, I see where you're getting seamonkey. But to me IT research always felt too random to simulate the gearing up of a war economy. The overstrenghting would simulate expension of already existing plants and streamlining of production and IT research the outright breakthrus increasing production across the board. (like cheaper synthethic fuel, I dunno) I just like the strategic implication that such a system would permit. -
Allowing plundering for USSR but not other allies would be realistic but may lead to abuse. Like allies letting ussr get the neutral capitals to take advantage of the plundering. How 'bout Civilized conquest: little or no mpp plunder, city supply capped at 8 Savage conquest: huge mpp plunder, city supply capped at 5 (from damaged economy and less cooperation from population resentement)
