intel cpus are normally slower then their amd counterparts, a intel 4 3.2 ghz cpu is only as fast as a 2 ghz amd xp cpu, the amds chips can do more calulations per cycle, thats why they might be slower but they give better marks, ps if u want to upgrade to a 64 bit cpu, only get a amd chip at the moment, as intels own 64 cpu is just a copy of amds, in fact they pay amd to use it. (ps i don't work for amd ) actually about mac's, i whouldn't say their faster then their pc counterparts, its just all mac's are SCSI (which is faster then a pc's IDE) and unless someone tunes up their XP/win 98 then the mac OS uses alot less resouces normally, thats why a 800 mhz mac seems faster then a 800 mhz pc, but their not

well tho i didn't directly get jolt to do a reveiw of CM, while playing counterstrike and if i hear anyone want to try a new Tatical game i do reckonmend CM straight away anyway heres the reveiw Jolts Review of CM

hes posts were very anti british for some reason...but hes biggest mistake was taking on JasonC about any fact, ever in ww2 (i am english myself and i find it very insulting to have my country's army of ww2 to be compared to the italeins in any way )

on the What if : britain vs ussr germany would have joined britain the second that britain let them, it was the mass mood of germans and hitler that britain and germany should join forces, its just britain didn't share hes view, so either brtain would refuse germany help coz they were wining against the ussr, or more then likly they accepted germany as they needed the allies..and the germans steam rollered poland then russia....with british help.

ahhaha u go on and belive everything u hear, just like how the usa won the space race ...apart from the fact they were second in everything apart from getting men to the moon...so they won...makes perfect sense!

wow that was a great reply by jason C, i use that tatic and it floored my mate in a tcp ip game! anyway, u people seem to forget at the time of the second world war the USA wasn't the super power it is now, in fact its probly the only country that gained alot becuase of the war, and if the war had not had happen it wouldn't have been, anyway hilters mistake (which their was many of) was to attack poland in 39..he himself didn't want war just yet..he promise hes fleet that war would not happen till at least 1944...he was just a gambler..and that one failed, tho he was lucky he knocked out france early...but after that it was unlikly he could have won...as for him to invade england was soo unlikly..even if he defeated the royal airforce in the battle of britain..the royal navy would have threw itself into the channel to stop the germans land/supplying...it would have took heavey losses...but it would have stop a invason and woud have gave england enough ime to make up its fighter losses....as ast that time england was making more fighters then germany. also the usa only got the nuclear bomb first becuase, they took all the english reseach on it (they also took all the jet engine reseach) and they got the rest from germany. after she was defeated. anyway germany was bound to lose it in 1939...but it just took till 1945 defeat it.

yeah and i bet they were laughing their arses off too when it all just bounces off and then one of their shots blow the allied tank apart!

well u can't blame market graden on failule on him to much, as he couldn't control the weather and the intell he got couldn't be trusted. market graden was the only way the allies could have got to berlin before the red army. something that was only just realized that once the red army got to berlin it wasn't going back to russia. monty was one of the only allied genrals who wanted to attack from italy into easten europe which would have stoped the red army and rusia gaining east europe, which was alot better then what the usa wanted to do and attack southen france...which was pretty pointless statically. u can not really complane that he he was to slow to move, bnecuase he didn't want to put hes men into battles he might not win and would cost many lives. "less speed and more haste". he was the only genral to get hes divsion out of dunrik with not only hes men in order...but with their weapons...he was the only one. i don't think u could find a better allied commaner in the second world war! yes he might have been a pain in the ass. but he was a bigger pain in the ass to the germans.

well personally i would rather take vets and cracks over greens any day...u get less...but they are more forgiving for bad commands...also their going to out last greens in a fire fight...u might get less overall firepower....but their going to keep firing while still taking fire...something greens won't do. so u get more firepower when it counts. that and i am a bit of a elitest....
