  1. Lol this was the funniest Ive ever seen. Have you any other idea how it is in other western countries? I'd say America is one of the countries where it's hardest to be something in the western world.
  2. Actually in a world that does not have responsible capitalism, just like ours which functions on capitalistic greed. Money does buy happiness for allot of people, because that is basically all they are missing to have a decent life. </font>
  3. I think this "new" soft version of Rambo is worse than the old. Once he was a "rough" diamond, now he is just a jolly dude.
  4. Well if we are here to phrase the bible, I have some questions for Rambo: I wanna sell my daughter as a slave(exodus 21:7) - what do you think would be a fair price? Leviticus 21:20 clearly states that I can own slaves of both sexes from a neighbouring country. A friend of mine says this only apply to countries outside the EU, is he right? My neighbour who works at a grocery store insist on working sundays. According to Exodus 35:2 he must be slain, is it up to me to do that? Can my friend's children play soccer? According to Leviticus 11:7-8 we must not touch the remnants of a pig. Is it ok if they play soccer with the other kids or must they stay here and play with a football made of plastic? We have a farmer here who insist on harvest different seeds on his land. According to Leviticus 19:19 that is a sin. He also curse a lot and his wife is no better, all dressed up in clothes of different materials(polyester, cotton). My question is: is it necessary to gather the whole village to stone them(Leviticus 24:10-16)? Can't we just burn them at the stake like we do with those who sleep with their relatives?(Levitivus 20:14) Would be glad if brother Rambo could clear this out, as I understand that you know everything. I would visit a priest myself, but as I have to wear glasses I'm not allowed to approach the priest and God's alter(Leviticus 21:20). once again thanks.
  5. No Rambo you are right too, always two sides of everything. What I lack though, is the complete failure of America to view everything in black or white wether it's foreign policy or crime rates. I mean it's no coincidence that the majority of the people in american prisons are blacks. And that got more to do with social issues than blacks beeing more evil. And if you understand that basic fact, that also means a country should not only focus on guns and harsh penalties, but also carefully examine why crime are rising. If one will do that it will clearly show that poverty among other things give side effects.
  6. Yes. The Soviet Union were exhausted, the western allied could gear up even more if needed for an all out war. I also think western allies would have wan a total war, but thinking of US going on the offensive with Japan left and tired people would be hard to see(thank good politicians not military run things in a democracy). Actually I think UK and US air-plane production should be something like 450,000... Secondly allied bombing campaign are still debated, the effectiveness are in question. Thirdly, Regarding manpower: The german figure of 9,500 000, does it include the ones already captured by the soviet side? Soviet figure at end of war is basically land, in your 16 million allied figure you included air and navy personel. If you just speak land combat troops this figure is far from that for the US and the UK. USSR would probably NOT be able to sustain a long war with the west which through combined forces and Americas production surely would have grudally built up a massive force. But cost would have been massive. On the the other hand and what Im saying, I can't see how the western allies, with all the difficulties breaking the battered wehrmacht 1944-45 should have been able to withstand an all out soviet assault in Europe beginning at the end of the war. Sherman against js-2 good luck. If they would have won a long war, I think yes, but the cost would have been huge. Another interesting thing is how a war between west and east in 1945 would have been recived by the population in different countries. Many would surely take up arms against the russian juggernaut, but at the sime time there were a lot of communistic movements that sprung up from the war success of the Soviet Union.
  7. Wehrmacht were wiped out in 1945, arming them would not have helped on a short term. The difference between wehrmacht in 1941 and later years were huge. The more I read about the red army(especially recommend David Glantz's book Colossus Reborn) the more obvious is that this monster would have crushed any thing in 1945. Hearts of Iron explored this in the expansion Doomsday. Russians steamroll western allies, a-bomb levels the score. Another interesting thing is, the wehrmacht fighting on equal terms(men, planes, tanks) would it have lost to the allies and the Soviet Union?
  8. Patton did a great job in WW2, but anyone knows he was pro war ALL the time, that is all he knew he said it himself. The only thing I agree with him post war is the support to take on the Soviets right away, although him it was not for the sake of liberating all those twice invaded countries but just to keep having a war. Luckily he was not the head guy. </font>
  9. Yes, majority of inmates are often the result of alcohol or drugs. So it's a big problem no doubt. But what you are saying in this and other threads are that alcohol should be prohibited but everyone should carry a gun?
  10. Patton is hard to judge as he almost allways fought against a weaker german counterpart.
  11. Well I guess the best beer come from the czech republic and the netherlands. In Berlin Becks(brewed in Bremen) was very common, felt a bit disappointed as they should promote their own Berlin beer more instead. Becks and Budweiser - same easy to drink crap. I want a beer that got something going on, not just some crap that screams "hey buy me, Im easy to get drunk on and taste like water".
  12. So divide number of gunincidents in US with the ones in Sweden according to population and you still wont get even close. It's not really comparative but you don't need to be a rocket scientist to understand that more guns floating around result in more accidents and such. Combine that with poverty and higher crime rate and you got a problem. Like the USA apperently got. Heck I don't see why people have a hard time accepting this facts. I'm not trying to put USA down(its in many ways a superb country), but if you prioritize like you do now it's gonna have side-effects.
  13. I guess Jollyguy would get a jollystart but I think Timskorn could get in front at the uphill stages.
  14. I guess if it came down to a gun duel Targul would get the upperhand. But if they each had a submarine Blashy would probably win.
  15. Lol no it's not crazy. It's just a fact that more fire-arms circulating cause more violence and gun-shotings. Look at the statistics, US are over-represented big time. </font>
  16. I have it on DVD, did not like it too much but it's ok nothing more. Low budget.
  17. Lol no it's not crazy. It's just a fact that more fire-arms circulating cause more violence and gun-shotings. Look at the statistics, US are over-represented big time.
  18. Thing is you wont get 150 years. America is what 300 million? China got 1 billion, India almost the same. With everybody chasing growth of the economy the struggle for resources are becoming more and more important. Sledgehammer-tactics are dated. For the USA, the cultural tactics(McDonalds, Coca Cola, Hollywood etc) been much more effective than using military force.
  19. USA helped Saddam survive the Iranian onslaught in the 1980's. That's the war when he used gas you know and a war he started on his own. Where were the US then? USA kept quiet. Khmer Rouge, genocide in Cambodia. Vietnamese forces went in to crush Pol Pots murdering - USA supported Khmer Rouge. lists go on. US foreign policy is outdated. If you wanna be the good guys stand up for your values of freedom and liberty and not support dictators. AND above all act smarter. Al Qaeda is most likely stronger today then 2001. USA keep chasing down terror-networks while completly ignoring to focus on the reasons why they are not able to stop the new recruiting of terrorists. Iraq is a disaster. Everyone knew it would be. Now US forces are arming the sunni-minority, which is very dangerous the day when America withdraws, huge risk of civil war. Bush and similar administration will never be able to keep Americas position as a world police in a world where China and other nations are growing fast economically - IF they keep going for sledgehammertactics. US position can't be built on brute force anymore, you'll need to act smarter. But I guess this is what happens when you give military the free hand. We've seen it in Vietnam and we see it now - the only thing that's worse than Bush lies on WMD is the hypocrits among the democrats. Rats in the true word, wanna leave the ship when USA should take full responsibilty for it's non-sanctioned war by the UN and rebuild whats been destroyed. 20. I 100% agree. For the scale we are using they should naturally be construction/labor force with no additional combat values.
  21. so you think I will update it Blashy? Well to be honest I think most new units definately got a place in a divisioned sized scenario. But Im more uncertain about the larger scale scenarios if one are to keep it as realistic as possible.
  22. Well the T34/85 had a crew of 5, the other one 4. The difference is very much visible when you look at them, the T34/85 almost looks like a sort of heavy medium tank.
