  1. I thought about it because it is a pain in the ass to have to go re-download all the mods if you ever lose em in a move or puter crash, etc.. I have the equipment to do it, but I think it would be a pain due to all the modders out there would have to give consent, and so would BFC (copy write red tape). The copy write?? you ask, yes, There would have to be a charge for doing this,{unless there is someone who would donate, doubtful). Some people who have been with the game tend to have downloaded the mods as they came out. And some have DSL or cable,(but even with these it takes a while to download all of them) and some have them already burned to disk. The next question would be, which mods to put on the disk, well you really would have to put all of them, (and by me saying disk, I meant disks, it would take more then one), because differnt people have differnt tastes in mods. Then what would be the charge for the disks?? hard to say without checking into it, the burning and S/H, U.S. and abroad. Then would you offer them only for the U.S. and Canadian versions?? maybe at first, then there would be the folks with CDV,{oops forgot they would have to consent also, that is if they are a partner with BFC, and I think they are), and if this is the case you have the "No Nazi Propaganda laws" in europe. Well those are a few considerations in thinking about a "Community Mods Disk". And last but not least, MONEY, if there is money to be made in any way, there will be a lot of aurguing going on, I can promise you this. So yes, I think it would be nice to have a "Community Mod Disk", but the feasibility of one, I don't see it happening.
  2. The length of the vehicle Dorosh, geez, it's as big as a football field, geez
  3. Tested it and sent you a e-mail with results. I think you did a great job on this one, and it may end up being a CMBB classic. I don't think you could do much better, besides improving the AI, and that can't be done. The play balance versus the AI is perfect and even the AI does pretty good in this battle.
  4. Seriously though, I thank stug for taking the time to do the sound mod. I hope he will keep doing them, because there aren't to many people that do sound mods. I started modding and I still have a ways to go before I get good at it.
  5. OOPs, sorry about getting off the subject on the 37MM AT. But I'm putting together a PPsH sub gun from a kit. (calm yourselfs, this ones non firing), but one thing I can say about the rusky WWII weapons, basic but effective. And as far as ammo quality well maybe not that good, or maybe not. I ahve never had any probs out of it. I have a Nagant revolver, and it shoots the 762,25 but not the same as the tok or Cz, (the shell seals itself in the cylinder, hard to explain). But the ammo I have for it is 40s manufactured still in the box ( The box comes with a target on it for practice shooting), and it hasn't gave me any misfires yet either, and I shoot the piss out of it.
  6. Cool, I have a Cz52, and the 762.25 ammo is some hot loaded crap. I picked up the pistol at a pawn shop, came with holster and cleaning tool for $150, aresanl refinished, accurate pistol. The neat thing about it is the locking mechanism, cool little pistol.
  7. Hey, I have a ammo box full of still wrapped russian 7.62 by 54 ammo from the 40's and believe it or not, I haven't had a single misfire. And you can shoot differnt ammo out of a weapon (with high risk) even if it's not made for that weapon. Look at the viet cong, they were some using WWII vintage rifles and using any ammo that would fit in the chamber, (Kinda wobbly going down the barrel).
  8. I'm running a Athlon 2800+ and I swear I saw smoke comming out of my tower. It's a well intended battle, but I think BFC went a little overboard with this one.
  9. Sounds interesting, send one my way if you don't mind. I've been waiting for a possible battle based on "Kursk" after reading the book "Operation Citadel". rbellerose419@yahoo.com
  10. Thanks looks and works great, I was just wondering how your interface mod would look converted from CMBB to CMBO.
  11. Yeah, they are fun to listen to, but man that dude needs a laxative bad
  12. I think the dual MG issue in CMBB will be corrected in CMAK, or it might have been the dual turrent issue. I remember reading in the forum that the game engine couldn't support the dual stff.
  13. There's still the BMP glitch with the 251/16 MG having the grey box under it>
  14. I modded the Flak88 in ambush and tri color camo, and also made a gun tractor in ambush camo. http://www.cmmods.com/web/CMMods.nsf
  15. Found the prob, had to repair my internet explorer, works now.
  16. It would take up half the map to turn, lol
  17. COG, I think there might be a problem with the data base. I click the login tab, and it goes right back to the log in tab, no login window appears. I figured I'd ask in case you weren't aware of this, or is it a problem at my end??
  18. Yeah, I got the same request, and like I asked Mike, what do you think the DL'd size of that mod would be?? 5-6 megs maybe??
  19. One more thing I forgot to mention, if you don't have a burner and don't have the cash for one. Go out and pick up a 3 gig or so hard drive, then format it and save to it. Then you can take it out and store it. You can pick them up for a few bucks at a puter shop that sells used parts.
  20. Oops, I needed it for the gelb (yellow) thanks though, because when I looked up the grey it gave me the idea to look through the BMPs for the gunshield, and I found it in yellow, the numbers start at 103378.
  21. Thanks Mike, I have been trying to figure them out for a while.
  22. anyone know the BMP numbers for the gelb 88 flak cannon??
