Why should it take me an hour to look for a simple command to mount my infantry on a stryker! I've looked everywhere in the manual, at the Hotkeys and Mouse Controls in-game and no where does it tell you how to mount up your infantry! Surely a simple thing like this should be so easy, like right clicking on the vehicle once your squad is selected, but no, that doesn't work either. I don't know why it should be so difficult to find a simple command like this!

Thanks man, the problem is I have twin NVidia 7600GT 256MB Video Cards set up in SLI. I just disabled SLI and now everything is fine.

If you read my post again I think you'll find I said I left click the unit and nothing happens! No glowing color base, no unit information in the panels.

Download fine, installation fine, startup fine, selecting Campaign fine, selecting unit, nope!! There is just no way it will let me select a unit. I left click, nothing, what the hell is wrong with this game?

Has anyone used a Staff Squad at all, and if so, what do they bring to the party?

You see a green icon in the form of the Formation you have given your squad to move, you also get a green icon when you order a vehicle to move too. You must keep Shift held down whilst you right click on each area of the map you want the way points placed. I'm not 'teaching you to suck eggs' I hope, but sometimes it's the little things that people forget, or don't know.

I was an MFC in the British Army and I can assure you that the arty is pretty realistic in terms of accuracy. Those long range snipers in real life have a tendency to 'drop short' once in a while.

Krull, the trouble with you and the other whiners is that you make your whining post, fair enough, but then you have to endorse it in loads of other posts, there's hardly a post goes by without you or chazman (whatever his name is) popping up and spouting your drivel! We seen your moaning posts, no need to go on and on in other peoples threads, plus BF have said they are making a patch, so ffs grow up and stop being such a dick!

You don't have to restart a mission to change crew positions, you can do it in game! Just left click and hold on the crew member you want to change, then drag it to the position you want him to change to (i.e to the other crew member occupying that position), and drop him there and the change has been made.

I've noticed you post something like this in almost every thread that has something good to say about the game. You have made us aware of your dislike of the game, so why are you still here moaning in every thread possible! If you hate the game so much why still lurk the forum and post crap ever single day, just go away!

I'm sure I remember seeing a post from BF about there being extra missions on the CD. I am still waiting for my copy of the CD, but my question is will I have to uninstall my downloaded version of the game and install the CD version to gain access to these extra missions? This also begs the question of will my save games be lost or can they be somehow saved and used with the CD installed version of the game?

If you want to take out an AT gun with Infantry, it's no use sending them charging in on a frontal attack! The gun has a shield which most of the crew are protected by. The only way to take out that AT gun with infantry is by being sneaky! Get down to ground level, see where the cover is, then crawl your infantry to the guns flank, then take it out, works for me!

Agreed, can't get on with that game one little bit.

This is your opinion based only on playing the demo. I can tell you that it is wrong. Having spent many hours playing the full game the Infantry are far from 'hobbled'! Three Infantrymen won a mission in the Allies campaign for me by taking out a tank and several enemy Infantry that were making it impossible for my AT guns to engage the enemy guns. It needs patience and tactical movement to get the Infantry to be a threat, but it can be done, I and others have proved it.

Agreed, I love the game too, it's giving me many hours of fun. Admittedly it needs a few things sorted out in the patch, like stopping soldiers from kneeling to reload from a prone position, and way points are desperately needed. I remember one of the BF staff saying something about a button that makes vehicles stay on roads! I haven't seen it, anyone else?
