Tried the cycle thing before uninstall but no go. You know Frenchy , I am playing a game at night in the fog and it hadn't occured to me that there is no fog. Not that this is a deal breaker but what is that all about. Is there anyway to get fog with Radeon?

unistalled, re-installed. sound back. turns out.

Haven't added anything in weeks. uninstalled, re-installed all better.

OMFG!!! :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: First the Vanilla Ice crap by Stoned_Felcher and now this, no sound for CMBB. I know that some of you sackless-half-wits know a bit about comps and BFC has ignored my query for 2 hours now. GGGGAAAARRRRRGGGGHHH!!!!! Mutha-pucking-tool-of-the-devil. How in the hell am I to enjoy thwarting Beket ,throttling Dave H , smacking mcgivney and booting Soddball with no sound? All other apps (games) run fine. The re-size screen window came up, it was correct, hit ok and now no sound. Weird thing is, I have not changed my screen size so I don't know what that was about. No turns until the evil-bitch-box behaves and I am once again serenaded by the screams of the pixel-comrades that make me smile.

Hopped on my comp today and fired up CMBB. It popped up the re-size screen option, I have not re-sized my screen recently. Checked it and hit accept as it was correct. But now I have no sound. All other apps have normal sound. Quick fix? Brand new Intel P4 2.4 processor w/ new motherboard. Using built in sound from motherboard. Running ATi Radeon 8500 128 DDR video card. Let's take a trip back in time. It was spring time, 2002 and a young lad in search of a free web-based email service as his disappointment in all things Microsukt reached its peak with "Hotmail". Sure its free but who really needs that much porn spam? I mean it was so bad I would have to check it twice a day to clear enough space for my PBEM games to continue. I was always asking for turns to be re-sent. Someone recommended "Softhome.net". It is free (good), its web-based so when I move it stays where I can find it (another plus). On the down side I receive "targetted" email ads. Not too bad but not as exciting as the offers of free goat porn that Microsukt seems to think the entire world enjoys. Flash forward to this morning. I receive an advertisement as I am checking for turns from you sacks of maggots. Not too bad except one from Softhome.net explaining that my account is being "modified" and that total monthly file transfer is being reduced, etc. WTF?!?!? Great big steaming piles of moose **** the whole lot of 'em. The bunch of heartless pricks tells me I can "upgrade", by paying $12/yr, back to what I had before. As such I will most likely be changing email accounts again. If anything gets bounced as undeliverable let me know and if anyone has ideas for another free web-based email service let me know. Hey Becket I was so flustered I deleted your file before saving. Please re-send last turn as I really like watching your tankettes rally race the game away.

Hey Egbert whilst we wait for Vadr to explain how that whole internet thing works to mcsomefink, care to have go at QB. 800-1000 points? With the rate of turns coming out the drunken scotsman I imagine Vadr will be playing that same game when the new CM engine is released. As of now he is averaging 1 turn per 3 days and the average is dropping as time goes on. Even a Canadien could better than this.

Check your casualities box, if its set for 10% 1 out 10 units won't make on the map. For inf this is modelled as reduced squad size for other units it means you do not get that unit. i.e. if you buy 10 Stugs w/ 10% casualities you only get 9 in game. Make sense?
