  1. Don't confuse "sharpshooters" with "snipers." I believe they are different.
  2. I'll second this one. If you have the money and are only planning on getting one book, this is the one I would suggest</font>
  3. Any suggestions? Looking to focus on the operational aspects of the campaign.

  5. I ws at the local library today, looking at the donated books they were selling. Picked up John Keegan's "Six Armies in Normandy" for $ 0.75 I was happy with the purchase. [ February 26, 2002, 09:20 PM: Message edited by: Das Reich ]
  6. Would you agree that if one was ever to fully understand the second world war, they would have to also have some knowledge of the first?
  7. damn. that is pretty damn rough. happy birthday, Stixx... cheers to your mom for accepting your challenge.
  8. A Gator fan, Lawyer? If so, me too... A good quote, either way. A funny, classic Steve Spurrier story: Early in his Gator coaching career, around 92 or 93, Steve Spurrier was at SEC media day when he was approached by an over-weight sports reporter. "Hey coach, I don't know if you rmember or not. But my mother said that you two dated a couple times in high school." Steve looked at him and snapped back in his arrogant voice of his: "Your momma? I don't think so."
  9. sorry if this has been asked already. But I was wondering if there will be anymodels accepted after the contest deadline. I would not expect to win the contest if I turned my models in afterwards, but I am still interested in seeing if my StuG IV is up to par... oh, just saw Kwazy's last post. i am sorry.
  10. The most appropriate day would June 22, of course. 61st anniversary of Operation Barbarossa's kick off... But, if its ready by June 6, by all means release it! [ February 24, 2002, 08:33 PM: Message edited by: Das Reich ]
  11. The StuG was designed to offer the infantry divisions its own mobile gun. All the Panzers would be attached to seperate formations, so the StuG, which could be produced very cheaply and in greater numbers than the normal Panzers became the weapon of choice. They were meant to be act as a mobile support to infantry, so that they would not have to always rely on the Panzer arm. [ February 24, 2002, 11:11 AM: Message edited by: Das Reich ]
