  1. Okay, this one is really tough. Hint: He is a German, was a Wehrmacht officer who fought on just about every front. This picture was taken, obviously, post war.</font>

  5. no cheating on this one, its too easy! This one is also rather easy... much harder one, who is the man on the left? And just for fun, who is this?
  6. Yea, and also no gaps which could be used by the Germans, also, in any counter attacks...
  7. I believe a U-boat delivered fighter engine plans to the Japanese at some point int he course of the war... I will have to dig into that one for more specifics.
  8. Are you actually daft enough to suppose that is an accident?</font>

  10. Dear Battlefront: Please release a 1 minute long movie of a turn of CM:BB. Please. Pretty please. Seeing all of these demos I cannot go to is driving me crazy... Just one little movie?
  11. I avoid Mac's like a serf avoids the plague. But good post. I love hearing how people found CM...

  16. The problem is the tactical AI. The soldiers you command are not robots. They have emotions and react to situations, and sometimes those reactions will go against what you ordered them to do. Also, a units experience would come into play here. A veteran unit in your same situation may be able to make it the place you want him to crawl to and not get jittery and fire. Where as a "green" troop might lose patience and shoot atthe enemy before he gets as far as you want him to. So, this is probably what is going on. The game does this, well, for realities sake. 17. So did snipers also operate within enemy lines during battles, so as to justify being represented separately for CM battles? Or could that role still be represented with a Crack or Elite sharpshooter unit? Anyway, here are my embryonic thoughts on how snipers (the "real" kind) might be treated: Like fighter-bombers, they would be purchased as a "presence" and not a unit the player controls. The AI would place and control the sniper (within a setup zone, maybe the enemy's setup zone in a QB, or the author's choice in a scenario) and would remain hidden from both sides until revealing himself through fire or movement (or they stumble on him). It would also seem that the friendly player shouldn't receive spotting info from the sniper (again, like FB's). Your thoughts?</font>
