  1. Has anyone experimented with the new features of AI behaviour in the editor. I am interested in particular for the withdraw fuction. Do you understand where one has to shift click on the map to intoduce the AI behavior in relation to a move order?
  2. The following is presonal prefernces but I did not enjoy 3 & 4 a lot.No 3 was too much unecessary bloodshed and no finess (a "carnage" to use Trumpian terminology) while 4 was quite "medival" (in the sense of conquer the castle on the top of the hill) :-)
  3. Battle of Komarovo was very interesting. My only comment is that due to casualities defenders surrender earlier than one would expect. If they held their ground it would be much more difficult for the Russians to push through.
  4. How singed off this zoning plan? People need better cities
  5. I did not enjoy much battles 1,3 and 4 but battle for Komarovo (n5) which I am playing now is very good and of course the second one is excellent
  6. Great tool. It works as promised!
  7. Would it not be even simpler if BF included the maps in the QB collection? Why not?
  8. 2nd mission from the US Campaign. It would be great if the campaign maps were released as stand - alone
  9. Same here. But I dont think it is PBEM related. It is rather the effect of loading a game saved before the update.
  10. It is indeed version 2.0 of CMBS. The previous one was 1.04, no? [4.0 refers to the engine version not the game version]
  11. I can attest that AI breaks away in panic upon realising incoming arty
  12. has anyone noticed if the spotters' stance logic has been imporved? Or are they still vegan-feasting the grass?
  13. I dont see a "follow vehicle" command been implemented Can someone explain how the hull down command is supposed to work?
  14. I confirm that the content is all CMBN related (hence incorret link)
  15. I dont know if this is a problem. Maybe the name of the file has not been amended correctly. I am just asking
  16. I purchased the update for CMBS and I got a download email for CMBN_v300_Upgrade_Setup.exe and the file I am downloading is called CMBN 3.11 Full Windows Is this supposed to be correct, notwithstanding the nomenclature?
  17. The victory points in this scenario are cleary "mispriced" - Just enjoy it.
  18. Without CAS - Zalas and a couple of Tungs Russians are unplayable against US in H2H in most cases, especially with RUS in the attack.
  19. This was never what I asserted. On this i plead ignorance. My assertion was that the immobilization probabilities assigned to fast movement when crossing dry clear terrain (let alone roads) are unjustifiably exaggerated in the game. In my humble opinion they should be verging to zero (if not zero). A secondary remark I made is that the "telos" of having a "fast" command is certainly not to increase the probabilities of bogging, but rather the increase of the probabilities of bogging is the ramification of moving fast in uninviting terrain. PS: the above was deliberately composed to non-midwestern English with a view to accentuate the psychological war waged against @MOS:96B2P in the context of our ongoing PBEM :-P
  20. knocking on wood works all the time! you should try it with no exceptions LOL
  21. For everything there is a reason. Can you please elaborate what do you think is the reason for having a "fast" command? I could give a few reasons (for example prioritise advance to accurate targeting and countermeasures, move at fast pace etc). But I would never list as a reason to increase the probablilities of immobilisation on dry roads. In your mind, is the latter the reason for the fast command? That is what I understand from your post PS I gues by "reason" you mean "purpose" in the aristotelean sense (i.e telos)
  22. No. It was early in the mission (Bridgehead at Kharalyk) and the tank was spotless. And as I said it has happened in other similar occasions as well. The other times were in wheatfields. But this time was on the road! I can put it on video, but that is the case.
  23. I still think that the probabilities of bogging -> imobilising are a bit exaggerated in the game - especially in dry dirt terrain. My initial post was not a singularity, rather a series of incidents occurring at an usual frequency which i felt I should discuss further
