The data were supposed to be tab separated but somehow they came out space separated. It's a bit hard to read but if you copy them into Excell everything should get clear.   8. Martyr,I know what you think about the arty problem. I followed this thread pretty closely since I am convinced that this is a very serious bug in the way CMAK handles artillery. Now, does that (what you think) has anything to do with what BTS thinks? No it does not. You don't work for BTS and what you think is just that - your speculations. CMAK is a software that to the best of my knowledge is still a supported product unlike CMBO and CMBB. Usually with any software program that was payed for customers can get some support. Some companies are better than others but usually any company will have some sort of support. They can call some number or ask a question via e-mail. Customers usually would get some kind of answer. That maybe not be the answer they expect but they will get some answer. BTS to my knowledge does not have either a number that one can call or an e-mail address where one can send a question about their product. This forum is the only place that I know of where one can post a question about CM games. Before, BTS was very good at answering those questions. I feel that their envolment in the game discussions detiorated dramatically for the past half a year. I can't remember when I last saw a post by Charles or Steve here for example. I don't expect them to come here and tell us that they are going to fix this arty problem tomorrow or any thing like that. All I want is to hear if they think this is a bug and if they think this is a bug if they are going to fix it. That's all I ask for. I don't want to hear any specualtion as what other people think BTS is thinking. I want to see a responce from BTS themselves. Is that too much to ask?
  9. I am a bit surprised at the lack of responce from BTS in this thread. I would expect one of the following four at least: 1. Yes, this is a bug and we'll fix it. 2. Yes this is a bug, but we are not going to fix it. You have to live with it. 3. No this is not a bug. Everything works as designed. (a brief explanation here would be nice). 4. We are invistigating the problem. But the complete lack of any responce is something that I wouldn't expect from a company that is as good with customers as BTS is. After all we are customers and we have a question about something that is not covered by the manual. It's been more than a week since the subject was brought up. Am I being unreasonable?
  10. Martyr, try to walk your FO before targeting or after the first strike lands on target cancel it, wait for a minute and repeat the same procedure again (with Priest raising dust). It looks like the first strike if FO didn't move does not suffer from the problem of temporarily blocked LOS.
  11. Schrullenhaft, the way to see this bug clearly is the following. Get a flat desert map with a few Shermans and a 81mm spotter. Target some area with the spotter (he would have a clear LOS to it) and target Sherman to the area just before where the spotter is aiming. Cancel Sherman area fire next turn. Your arty will fall in some arbitrary place. Reajustment does not help. the strike has to be canceled and retargeted next turn.
  12. That was my impression too. This makes targeting arty in desert very, very hard. Also this bug makes it virtually impossible to target with an arty the same area that you are pounding with direct HE.
  13. Interesting. I checked your results in a QB Editor and indeed there is a diffence in "to hit" probability between tanks with diffent skill levels. This fact contradicts what BTS was saying about the differencies in skill levels of armor vehicles. BTS stated that the only difference was a rate of fire (and a morale) but they emphasized that the gunnery skill does not chance with skill level. At least that was the case in CMBO. I wonder when this got changed...
  14. I had a 1.0 executable. When I patched CMBB I made a copy of 1.o first and saved it. All I had to do is to copy the 1.02 exe somewhere and copy the 1.0 .exe back and patch it with 1.01 version. I think if you don't have 1.0 executable you will need to reinstall the game. But in my opinion it is really worth it to return to 1.01 (because of this gun bug).

  16. I had to revert to 1.01 because of the bug with HE fire. It is basically impossible to hit a soft target that occupies a high ground with direct HE fire in 1.02. I'm anxiously waiting for the 1.03 patch.
  17. KV stands for Klim Voroshilov and IS stnds for Iosif Stalin. Klim Voroshilov was one of the high ranked generals and hero of the Russian civil war. T stands for tank and the number is the two digit year when the prototype of the tank was first made.
  18. yea, the command delay gets back to normal for Soviets in January 44. Everything else ( but command delay) stays at the correct experience level since June 41.
  19. I have something to add on the question of recovery. 1. The recovery time should be the same for different degrees of tiredness. 2. The unit should never be able to recover fully after they get exhausted. Let me explain. If a person for example goes for a 5 mile run he gets tired. Another 5 miles will put him into exhaust state. Now he will never will be to recover to ready status unless he rests overnight which pretty much is out of scope of CM battles. This statement is based upon my own experience and observations of other athelets. Now suppose that after teh guy ran those additional 5 miles he decided to go for anotehr 5. He is already exhaused. So after another 5 miles he will be more exhausted. Now here comes my second point. It will take him the same time to get to what is called "tiring" state in CM after 15 miles run as it would take him after the 10 miles run. I'm sure there are people here on the board who eitehr train professionally or trained professionally. I'm sure they will be able to confirm what I said.
