  1. 15 brand new trees... including fall trees... and pines. It should be easier to find your infantry with the taller trunks. I should be sending them to Tom and uploading them to the CM Mod Database very soon. Many thanks to Juju for testing them and giving great suggestions as always. 2. My upcoming tree mod is more functional (higher tree trunks to see the soldiers) than an improvement over the stock trees.
  3. Hi Keith, I finished the 7 spring/summer deciduous trees today. I'm still considering doing the fall and pine trees. I'll post some screenshots eventually.
  4. Thanks Dan. It's really hard trying to improve on the great work you've done. I'm just trying to make generic looking trees that could fit in anywhere.
  5. Glad you guys like it. I've got four of them I'm happy with. Three more left to do. It should be much easier to find your troops with the much taller tree trunks.
  6. You should be able to find just about every mod using Kump's great mod catalogues on his CM Outpost site.
  7. The best train tracks in CM:BO just became the best train tracks in CM:BB. You must be happy you don't have to start from scratch again.
  8. Yep, I did it (converting to 256 colors) on all 193K+ BMPs and didn't notice any difference in looks nor in framerate - but this was judged on sight alone as I don't know how to have CMBB shows FPS ... Anyway it's a good deal overall for small HDs as HD space used went down 40%, CMBB weight going down from 1.16 Gb to 775 Mb I now have to try lowering res, I think a 50% reduction (in one dimension only) can be a good compromise in perf vs quality, the resulting res being in fact CMBO "hi res". HD space will be down another 30%, all will now fit unzipped on a CD ... </font>
  9. That does look good. Bruno: I have no idea, but it looks like two of the three stock gravestones aren't made of wood either.
  10. I believe BTS/BFC has said that reducing the number of colors on BMPs has no effect on framerates. Only reducing their resolution will help.
  11. Hi Dowding, I think my first wall is on The Last Defense. Try here: Ed Kinney's (that's me) first wall
  12. You go to Tom's Site, select Mods (on left side of screen), then select buildings, and look for the "Full Bunker Kit". I'm not going to post a link to the file, because perhaps Tom doesn't want that. Musn't upset Tom. He gets very angry you know. Starts tossing dwarfs around and all. Thanks again for the site Tom, and fantastic work Ed! -Chris</font>
  13. I sent the bunkers to Tom's site, including a non-foliage version. Keith: I wasn't happy with the trenches I made. Looks like Tiger has some better looking ones though.
  14. I should be sending them to Tom later today. Just trying to finish the winter versions.
  15. I look forward to playing them once I finish these darn bunkers. Thanks for updating some of the old CMBO classics to CMBB.
  16. The non-winter bunkers also share those textures. Houses and buildings do share side textures, but not the roof.
  17. I too no nothing about modding, but I would think that there should be some snow on the roof of the bunker. I would think that the crew inside would leave accumulated snow on thew roof as added camoflage.QB]</font>
  18. Both sides and the top use the same texture. That's supposed to be a layer of white-wash, not snow, on the winter one. I'm not really sure if that's what it should look like.
  19. Thanks again for all the nice comments. [ October 01, 2002, 06:21 PM: Message edited by: Tanks a Lot ]
