  1. Some of you are insane, it's just an ad for a game, holy cr*p!
  2. Looking good! Damn, I can't wait for this game! It's the reason why I'm browsing the Battlefront forums again.
  3. Dunno if you remember, but me and another Slovene member talked about translating SC1 into Slovene, but since we suck at Photoshop (couldn't even change the buttons ), we gave up!
  4. Heya Hubert, nice to see major progress, keep up the good work. Wow, my first post here in about a year and a half...
  5. I just have to add; I loved the way you could clearly see the borders in SC1. You would zoom out, and you had a sort of military map, where you could instantly see the border of your realm (you know what I mean, the colors were different). It's not so apparent in the screenies. Could you make them more visible? cheers
  6. I haven't posted here in a year or so, but after receiving the newsletter...OMG! SC1 was a fabulous game, so I CANNOT WAIT for SC2! *cheers*
  7. It doesn't work. I just tried it twice. The install program still can't find several bmps...
  8. Well I have two CMBB CDs and the thing is like this: whenever I try to install the game, about 1/4 of bmps can't be read by the CD-R. So I tried cleaning the cd, switching them, but the computer just won't install the game. Mind you, my CD-R is a bit rusty but it still reads any CD you want with no trouble at all. It just seems not to be too fond of CMBB. Is there anything I can do? I tried copying the install.exe directly to the hard drive, but nothing changed. I couldn't use WinRar either. What could be wrong?? I mean, it was working fine before I formatted my drive! I want to play operation Störfang!!!
  9. Can't anymore! I suggest you put these up at cm.cozog.com as fast as you can, coz' if I play WW2, I want it to be real, the swastika and all!
  10. "...Did you hear the one about Stalin, a goose and a piece of Ementhaler?" "No, tell me!" "I could, but then they'd have to kill me."
  11. Sweet! Can't wait! The current CMBB terrain is a bit....well not too cool for my taste.
  12. i was kinda disappointed with the mortars...still, better than nothing! now they just need to texture the flammenwerfers...
  13. I'd buy it. I used to play it a lot, but just can't go back to those poorer models and sounds.
  14. I dunno, I quite like them. I mean, my Tigers eat through them like Al Roker on diet!
  15. Do you guys know of any good mega campaigns for CMBB going on right now? Like Magenta Onion, only more realistic (I used to play one at the CM club Band of Brothers). Cheers
  16. Which is your favorite scenario in CMBB, and why? Mine is probably Danube Blues. The scenery is nice, with the river Danube, snow, everything is quiet for the first few turns...it's short and full of adrenaline (plus, I figured out a sexy spot to place a StuGIII near one of the houses, managed to take out 6 T-34s and kill 16 Ruskies before getting taken out). Let'em rip!
  17. Mine probably has to be in Danube Blues. I get all these Tigers as reinforcements, and I almost do a Prussian march around the room, screaming "Take that, Ivan!" Well, after a couple of turns one of my Tigers is stuck near the bridge (almost drove into the water) and the other ones are already burning. I mean, c'mon, these are TIGERS!!!
  18. = a convention of some hundred bald middle aged guys Good idea though, anyone wanna pay for my plane ticket?
  19. I haven't been playing CMBB non too long, but I am a CMBO veteran. Now comparing the two, there is definetly progress. Troops do panic too often, at least in my experience (for example, as they run, a tank opens MG fire on them, they are about 10 meters from their objective, and instead of running towards it, they'd rather run about 200 meters from where they came from, maybe even across an open field!!). Anyway, great game, blimey, what a great game!
