  3. 1. To have mortars stop firing when the target unit is destroyed or moves off, they stop immediatly when smoke is in the way or a building is destroyed...! 2. Fix annoying traffic jams in convoys. 3. Be able to target a vehicle with infantry and have them move to it rather than the spot it occupied. 4. Not have fires on hard roads which currently makes them impassable. 5. Be able to use own maps for QB's. 6. Have certain mounted units firing on the move. 7. Be able to have some arty spotters call strikes from vehicles, maybe they could be purchased with the vehicle. 8. Be able to set Armour/artilley unit point limits for QB's, so people could not purchase units more than say 130pts. This would lead to games free of the 'superheavy' weapons. 9. Be able to purchase armour as platoons. 10. Be able to purchase other support units as platoons. <will be checking stocking hopefully> btw, best game even with my niggles!
  4. How about just asking if your opponent would agree to an armour unit cost limit, ie: 130pts.
  5. Adjust the unit scale, shift+C I think. Then you will see they do not occupy the same location.
  6. That is an great site, you must have some sort of photography background, exellent pictures! Do the mods make the game run any slower? My card struggles as it is, but after seeing the difference I would really like to add them.

I have the same problems with dissconections and have heard that it happens if your line is idle for a few minutes, I got surftime 24/7 with Sniffout.com I would play a lot more PBEM games but it just keeps dissconecting during the download of large files If you can afford it then sign up for ADSL, I have, but they refuse to give you an installation date, gits. Btw Demon does seem to have a very good reputation, but £40...

When I target a unit with a mortar that has been spotted by a HQ unit the mortar keeps pounding away at the same spot when the targeted unit has moved off This doesn't seem to make sense, the mortar under HQ command should be told to stop firing, after all it stops firing immediately when the HQ line of sight is broken by smoke. I don't expect the HQ to direct the mortar to track a moving unit but would expect it to stop firing when nothing is there anymore. For 60mm mortars this is a complete waste of most of their ammo.

  10. They didn't have good treatment either. 12 captured Charlemagne personnel when asked by a French general why they were wearing German uniforms answered "why are you wearing an American uniform", so he had them shot, tsk tsk.
  11. The FB's can be pretty effective at times but afterwards you don't really get the satisfaction that you won the game by pure skill. If the game is pretty small then it's not a good idea to pick planes, unless your the type of person just into winning than game. A 7500pt game might not matter so much, but I would say leave it aside for PBEM's, it's just too much of a luck factor.
