Finns...Nazi wannabes with extreme cold weather shrinkage. I can understand why they are so angry with folks from warmer climes. Does the...climatically imposed effect...have any effect on morale?

I also have had two Crash to Desktop errors when running Cidatel scenario. I was trying to move from one tank to another each time. Love the game, but have done a bit of cursing loud enough to get the attention of my wife upstairs.

Oh, yeah. The 37mm is such a weenie weapon as compared to...say...the Boys Anti-Tank Rifle? And it never could stop the invincible Bren Carrier. The weapons were developed to face the then most likely threat, and armor just wasn't huge.

Don't quite know what to tweak, if I should. Riverbed has a slew of green,blueish areas, almost as bright as unit bases. Really looks wierd.

I lied, THE DOWNLOAD CUT OUT ON ME. I still thing the thanks are in order.

I havent't finished the German download yet, but I did want to say to Mad Matt and everybody else at BFC that I really appreciate the chance to get a new game that should really be cool. I will, of course, have to hunt you down and kill you in a PBEM game. Taunting us refresh monkeys is rude. More mirror sites would be OK, crushing you haves like Stalin in the purges would be OK too. I don't really feel too bad, I'm just cranky about being unable to download on my DSL...yet.

I understand the issue, I just don't like it. More mirrors would keep me from being a headline in tomorrows papers about the guy who kills his wife and cats with a computer keyboard.

I am doomed to be a monkey of unsuccessful refreshing until BFC picks up some more mirror sites for the demo. Aarrgghh. Much wailing and gnashing of teeth

I think the general idea is that I WANT COOL STUFF, AND I WANT IT NOW. Relax, and ponder the concept of T34/85's jumping over you bed for the next couple of days. I am (almost) drooling over the idea of CMBB Demo!

Think about it. A tank is a VERY noisy environment. Add the stress of combat. Poor Comrade Lippschitz the driver probably would not notice anything not in his field of vision. As a driver it...should...be forward. (I have had drivers on M1's who couldn't use the road like a coloring book, that is to say keep it between the lines). If the Comrade was looking forward, with the great Soviet technology intercom, it is quite possible for him to be blissfully ignorant of the bailout of his crew. That also applies for his engineer/MG gunner.

Speaking as a former treadhead officer, when you kill a tank, you usually will know (as Oddball said "makes a pretty picture"). If you don't know, use Israeli Fire Control. That is, shoot it repeatedly until you see the above mentioned pretty picture. I'm all for detailed info of the kill. Call me morbid. I just like to know exactly what i did, versus seeing the column of smoke. later, Wallybob
