Just noticed a problem while playing Citedel as the Russians. When my KV1 fires at a Panzer IV, the PZIV is knocked out before the actual shell impacts.

Ok what do we not like about CMBB? I found it hard to find a fault, the gamplay's superb as usually. But I managed to find 2 things i did not particularly like; 1. not too keen on the AAR Screen. 2. The sounds of the tanks are not quite right. And one more thing, I thing the demo should have been spread a bit, one in 1941 & the other in 1945.

I much prefer the old system, i think the new one is trying to do too much. I belive in keeping it simple, however I gues I'll get used to it.

Tanks were used in the fighting but a majority was called to Army Group South (I think).

Bad news, just got confirmation from the UK distributors. The game will not be released here until late october. I'll be getting mine from BTS, hope it takes less than 2 weeks to reach me unlike last time.

Have just encountered the T34 in the demo and it was every bit of the nightmare I expected. Had better luck dealing with the KV1 though.

I just fired 11 shots at a T34 (point blank), 5 penetrated the rest just bounced off. I could literally see the shells break up on contact. Did I kill the tank? Hell no! I can help but pity those poor guys who had to face the T34 and KV1s with that thing. That's what I call a suicide mission.

Has anyone had used the 37mm gun? All I keep asking myself is; "were the Germans stupid?". That thing's a pea-shooter!!!!!

maybe its my ears but I still prefer the old Panzer IV sounds. Downloaded from CMHQ last year. I guess I'm used to that one.

R there any sound mods available, not too keen on the Panzer III & IV engine sound on CMBB.

Well, the waiting is over. Just downloading the demo, it 3:24am here in london. Decided not to sleep tonight and get the demo . Does anyone know what senarioes r on the demo?

Oh dear 1941 eh? The T34 may have only been in small numbers then but I have read about the first time it was encountered by the Germans and it almost wiped out a German formation. I also read the Gedarian encountered it and it took a while before they were able to knock the damn things out. I almost forgot about the KV1 (that is a bigger nightmare), granted it was slow but only a shot to the side or rear could knock it out. Does anyone know when the Tiger was introduced in the east and in what quantities? I know a few were sent to Rommel in 41. Dealing with the good old ronson or better still, Tommy Cooker was easy in the west at least you were sure that almost every anti-armour weapon in your arsenal could penetrate it. Just thinking of those Russian tanks & TDs is causing me a lot of stress. My main worries in the east are the JSI & II, T34-85 and the SU100. Any info on these will be helpful.

Am I right in thinking that the T34 was first encountered in 1942? My problem is I almost always play as the Axis and I’m having nightmares about coming across it early as the MBT of the German was the Panzer MKIII with it’s puny 50mm main gun. Also I believe the Panzer MK VI was introduced in 1942, does anyone know how may were sent to the Eastern Front?
