Like others said. Audio but no video. Set Control Panel to Appl. Controlled and it comes back but of course no AA then.

CMSF Version 1.01 Intel Dual Core 2.4 Ghz 7950GX2 Forceware 162.18 (Latest non-beta available) 2G Ram XP Media With AA enabled in the game options, you have to then enable AA in the Nvidia Control Panel as advised in game and needed to get any AA benefit anyway. I have it set to 4X in the CP for CMSF. This causes the Splash Screen to never show. Not a show stopper obvisouly as no other issues noted but an odd observation point that may be of assistance. The screen is black but a left click gets you to the game menu as it normally would if it was there. Repeatable problem.

Seems maybe I am missing something as the Unit Detail Silhouette for this MMG always looks deployed to me. I can't figure out if it is deployed or not. Unit moving makes no difference to the silhouette. Deployment Command button always highlighted whether I click on it or not. Any insight?

I couldn't Left Click units on map but I could on triangles at top screen. My system: Intel Dual Core E6600 2.4Ghz 7950GX2 Single Card, Dual GPU, 512Mb 2Gb RAM XP Media I fixed by updating to latest Nvidia drivers. Sorry no details now but I probably last updated my drivers in March time frame. So updating drivers can work! I find too choppy of a mouse and video though at "Better and Better" settings, No Vsnych, and AA/Antro both at 4X in Nvidia settings. By changing to "Best and Best" and keeping 4X settings unchanged, mouse is smooth and video is so far acceptable. Not big scenarios though so we'll see. FYI all.

I liked Moscow but Russo-German War is dry, dry, and dry. Just finished reading it and it was a struggle to get through it. I have heard the Zeimke and Erickson books are better for overall war in the east. Alan Clark's Barbarossa is a good general read and I like the Carell books too but people have strong opinions on his books as well.

Me and an opponent were playing a CMBO game and about half way through our game, the PBEM turn sequence went goofy. As the Allies in this game, my sequence was as follows: Movie and Move Move (shows plots I already did) Movie and Move It dropped Movie only files for me. I get two moves in a row and my second move shows what I plotted in the first one so I just hit GO right away and send the file. All seems to be playing OK otherwise and not skipping turns. My opponent only saw a Movie only turn and Move only turn and no Movie/move turn. Anybody seen this? This is now occurring in a game between me and the same opponent in a CMBB game. Since I have never seen this on 100's of games and my opponent apparently has, I suspect something on his end. Suggestions? We have some CMBB files we can send as this game is still in progress.

This is one of the reasons I send you my credit card # from time to time! Very impressive and hats off to you guys. Almost unheard of these days what you all did to remedy this situation.

Does 41.09 fix the FSAA issues with CMBB or is Alt Tab still required?

Interesting! I had the exact same problem but on my work PC so not as big a deal for me. I figured it was the drivers.

Extreme. Anybody know a way to tell which FOW once you start? With multiple PBEM's going, some are at Full and some Extreme. I may want to know which is which (my memory sucks) but not sure yet if a major issue for me.

Fun scenario but the last set of Allies reinforcements comes in too late to be of much use. I would put them by the river too and skip the trucks. Too much armor goes to waste for allies also. I liked the map and thanks for the opportunity to play it.

The last set of Allied reinforcements came in so late and took so long to load on trucks and then load on boats that very few will get to join in on the great bridge rush I am about to do on my pal Stoffel. Been a fun scenario and the German armor was a surprise. We have about 7 turns to go.

I think the intent of these demo scenario's was to give you a flavor of the "new" war we'll all face in CMBB. In that, they acomplished.

Download section of Battlefront.com has a "New Features" section for the CMBB demo. From the nature of some of the questions/comments on this forum, I think there are a lot of people like me that didn't know it was there but some serious goodies included within it. Need the real game now....

The summary list of CMBB changes on the Demo Web page has all kinds of goodies listed. Overwhelming but good stuff!

I got boats a few turns latter. I suggest having Americans enter much closer to river so you sepend less time moving them to the river and all. So far, a fun and interesting scenario. Many turns to go for me and my old pal Stoffel.

You're right Henk the arty. was a surprise as were the bunkers. Not sure I have any specific suggestions yet on this one as we have about 6 more turns to go and I should get another large flag unless there is a few more surprises for me and possibly an Allied win but we'll see.

Think I'll have some fun along the RR first before I surrender

I have also fixed problems with opponents by having them send a "new" e-mail versus "replying" to mine. Not sure why that works but it does on the rare occasion a problem occurs.

My troops have been taking a pounding in those woods as well. Please hold still so my Croc can exercise the flame! I got lucky again on that tank which I thought was a MkIV

Thanks for the hint Stoffel. I was looking for a Shreck somewhere. Stug? I can deal with him shortly and I see him just fine now thanks Now... To the rest of the map and phase II of my attack. Could use some more arty. ammo though...
