  1. Here's something that I never understood and never bothered to ask. What does the arty asset have to do with an arty mission? I get the mission ROF and the length of duration. But what does the number of guns used for assets have to do with anything? It sounds like more rounds are being fired but that sounds very similar to Mission ROF.
  2. I guess I can see how some things could have a range of damage. But what about something like tracks? Isn't either working or the track is thrown off the tank and thus, not working?
  3. Does anybody know if there's a chart somewhere that breaks down the color indicators for damage on tanks and such? For instance, what does dark green mean for each component of a tank...and how many different color indicators are there?
  4. So the ones in the game are basically Canada's version of the Sherman tank? I've seen versions with both 75mm and 76mm guns.
  5. I'm looking for info about Canadian cruiser tanks regarding gun size, armor defense, etc. What German tanks would be able to withstand a shot from their main gun? P.S. - While we're on the topic, is there a site which lists the gun and armor data for all the AFVs in this game?
  6. Ok, so on the initial turn, the face command didn't work. Now, on the 2nd turn of the game, I'm allowed to give facing orders to units. Is this some kind of feature that is given to scenario designers, taking the face order away on an initial turn...or is there maybe a bug in which that command isn't working on the first turn of a battle?
  7. I don't see the dark blue line to represent the face order you give a unit at the end of a turn. Why was this taken out in the version 4 upgrade?
  8. Yes, because only white men do this type of horrible thing. It's sickening what lengths these marxists will go to in order to demonize white men.
  9. Yeah, I'd agree with all of those points. #1 is especially important. I don't think we need to go back to the 50s or anything in terms of morality but we have gone way too far in letting women run around wild. It's destroying our civilization. The sexual revolution may have made sex easier to obtain for men. However, we've reached a point now where women no longer worry about whether or not they look like whores for sleeping around with lots of men. So what do they do? They wait around to only sleep with the top 20% of men. In the past, they would've been shamed for such sexual morals. But now it's encouraged by our media as is being single. So your average 6-7 will wait around for a man who's an 8 or above in looks/personality/money/status etc to date her or have sex. Obviously, this is very damaging to all other men and that's why we now have the MGTOW movement. Average men who no longer have sexual access to these women have given up on them. Our media might say shaming is bad, but that's their plan to keep things status quo. The reality is, it's shaming that kept society under control and women from being so promiscuous. Without shaming women for having lots of sexual partners, you now have the situation we have today. Some men might think this is a good thing but it's horrible for relationships, destroys the family structure, and is generally bad for society. And this was all planned. Communists said this was how they would destroy the West and that's exactly what they've been doing.
  10. I agree...and hypergamy has gotten a lot worse in recent years. If we expand the definition of hypergamy to include any sexual relationship and not just marriage, then I definitely think that women are holding out for a better class of men then they previously did, even if it's just to have sex with them. The average guy used to be able to meet the average girl, date her, and enter into a relationship if he wanted to. Now, the average looking girl isn't exactly looking to settle down. She's allowed to date and have sex with a bunch of different men as this is somehow okay in our current Western society. Then at around age 29, she gets serious enough to find a guy who has money and wants to support her. These women are completely delusional as every one of them think that their Prince Charming is waiting to marry her even though she's already lost some of her looks. You can attribute this new behavior to all these ridiculous movies that usually star Amy Schumer and involve women staying up all night partying in clubs, getting drunk, and acting like sailors on shore leave. The people who run the studios are obviously working in concert with other parties to make sure that Western women are ruined forever by the media they consume. Meanwhile, your average Joe who just wants to meet a nice girl and settle down is left spending his Saturday nights alone by himself.
  11. I'm choosing vehicles in a QB and I see different levels of rarity. What is the correct order of these? Rare, Uncommon, Common, Rare, Limited, Standard
  12. Me and my opponent have just finished playing "Retaking Vierville" which you can download here: http://community.battlefront.com/topic/101538-new-h2h-scenario-retaking-vierville/ I wasn't sure how enjoyable this one was going to be but it proved to just get better as the game went on. I'd rate this scenario a 7.5/10. The Germs are on the attack and are given a series of routes to take different parts of Vierville which are defended by the Allies. As an H2H battle, it seemed very fair and balanced. When it gets interesting is when reinforcements arrive for both sides. It completely changes the plans that each side has and both are forced to deal with a contingency they probably didn't expect. My biggest gripe is about the points that are awarded for each zone on the map. Some of them are worth more points than others and yet the German player is not told which is worth more until the AAR at the end. So essentially, you could be striving to take certain zones when you really should be taking others worth more points. Aside from this grievance, I still recommend checking this scenario out.
  13. I haven't upgraded yet. Just read the notes that said what was updated. Why?
  14. I was under the impression that the 4.0 engine would have improved graphics. Why was this part of the game not improved upon?
  15. Looking over the new game, I saw this unit listed. Is this the very same AFV that devastated Allied forces in Close Combat 2?
  16. The last scenario I played was Das Dorf Des Todes. My opponent was Allies as usual while I took the German side on defense. I'll keep any major spoilers out of the review. While the map is beautiful with some nice avenues of approach, it is an artillery-heavy scenario. So if you play CM as a game of chess like I do, I wouldn't quite recommend this one as there's simply too much luck involved introducing the artillery barrages into the game. Both sides seem equal for H2H play and Allies are given multiple options to attack which makes it interesting. However, I think the overwhelming amount (and size) of the artillery can ruin the Germans day with just a lucky shot or two. Other than that, it's worth a look. Rating: 6.5/10
  17. Any new data on how to unbog a tank? Should you give it new movement orders? What happens if you don't give it orders?
  18. I have 1/2 of an MG team in a building and noticed that the gunner has the MG slung over his back and is holding the Walther instead. Why would one do this and how do I get him to holster the Walther and deploy the MG instead?
  19. I pose this question as I've noticed that MGs for both infantry and tanks can constantly fire on a target without any possibility of jamming at all. I've seen opponents just fire turn after turn to effectively disrupt enemy troops knowing that: They have plenty of ammo to do this with turn after turnThere's no penalty for doing soProlonged firing of an MG in particular would cause a jam. Including this in the game would not only be more realistic but prevent gamey use of this weapon against opponents. Thoughts?
  20. The green Company HQ was under some duress and finally got back on the radio with the Battalion HQ. All is good now.
  21. BTW...how long does it take a unit to recover from being exhausted?
  22. I have a Green company HQ that was issued a radio but for some reason they aren't under command of the Battalion HQ like the other HQs because they can't / won't use their radio for communication when they're out of visual and audio contact. The command line is dark from them to the Battalion. Any idea why this is?
  23. Is there a difference in how individual leadership modifiers affect vehicles vs infantry? If the vehicle is under the control of an infantry battalion leader with a leadership modifier, what effect does this have for vehicles?
  24. So only AP rounds from an MG will pierce their armor with a frontal shot? BTW...if my MG team grabs the halftrack's extra AP ammo, will they use that before the regular non-AP ammo they're issued?
  25. If the commander of that arty battery thought that friendly forces might need smoke rounds, would they not save a few of those pulls just for that purpose? I guess I don't understand how smoke rounds were distributed to these batteries in real life or how a "100 pull" order is carried out as it seems illogical not to save what you might need later.
