Oh Patxi try the CMAK SCW I recently did Small Battles Republicano Ridge SCW - I would appreciate your comments.

Hello Patxi You are correct CMBB is a much better platform for SCW. But for my own design I've moved to CMAK - and have restricted SCW development. Hopefully CMx2 will be more friendly to my favorite period SCW. Oh the other invasion is much to large, I could split it up into smaller bits but other projects intervened!

Yep unless they are a reuse of old Greek or Roman ruins (a common use) I'd say the walls should go around the buildings.

On this date a number of French units broke contact with their German pursuers and escaped (into internment) in the Confederation of Helvetia. From R Stoves book on the 1st Panzer he covers this with only one line, noting that the PzRecceBtl 4 reached the Swiss border on June 17th and the following comes from the German war diary: Pz.Div.: receives order to turn northwest. K.1 occupies Morteau on the swiss border at 17:00. S.R.1 takes Montbeliard at 18:50. However from another source its says several French units crossed the border to avoid the German advance - does anyone have information on what French units these were?

Nah just a guy whose job was boring for a few years! Have to say CM scenario production is a great hobby -reading obscure history books has been delightful and I particularly like making the maps. I've become busy again so production of scenarios will be dropping off a great deal but I should get one out once in awhile - saving strength for CMx2. Not a bad idea, a scenario of 200's, good one Ace, kinda of a mini-Pershotraveneve Ridge theme.

ME and north African cities don't have straight roads! Take a look at Small Battles Mandelbaum’s Gate AIW for a what a suburb of Jerusalum looked like. You can also look at Small Battles Jaffa AIW for an Arab city.

I've done several that way and they work, you do need to avoid any use of trucks however as they tend to sit still and conduct maintenance. Obong Ni Pass is a nice small one and you might like to try it to see how a non flag battle can work, best from the US Marine side.

I need to start planning that one as numbers 198 and 199 are starting to shape up. Any suggestions from this august body as to what it should cover?

Ampulomets If your interested in a scenario that uses these odd little weapons please try the CMBB scenario 'Sons of a Hero'. Made for play with you as the Germans vs the AI or another player.

You can do it without flags. Try giving each side exit eligiblity and the AI will attack (make sure you make some or all the unit eligible to exit for points)
