Dear Lord i am up to my elbows in PhotoShop 5 , reference material and Humbrol paint. I am also using the MCM3 mod manager to get my mods from their folders into CM. Its a God send compared to the pain of using ResEdit to paste the bmps into CM......sure i'm only flying now Måkjager

Hey Julian take it easy ...Mod makers are hard at work right now , it does take a wee bit longer to make a mod than the time it takes to brew a cup of tea I'm working on my next project and it is a real pig( no offence to swine meant ). Kestrl , all i can say is go ahead and have a go at making mods.....i really gives an extra kick to CM knowing that you can "Add" something to the game that is your own. Dont be afraid to try out things with any paint program that you get and as soon as you do something that you are happy with SAVE it and make a copy....then work on the copy. As Aikidorat was saying it took me 8+weeks to do that ambush Hetzer...mainly because i was finding my way around PS....then waiting for screen shots( wink wink Dave ) to show up as my Imac at the time was giving me trouble. By the time i had finished the mod i had 900MB of files belonging to it......scary part is i spent over 20 hours making new wheels ( idler and sprocket ) and i did not use them ...... So go ahead and give it a go. You never know till you try. Oh btw Aikidorat...get back to the furnace slave....its my turn to be the master now Måkjager

Yes it will fix the 3d loading screen . I have had a nightmare since getting CM . I was unable to load and play it properly till i got the driver.....now i have nice explosions and even fog.....i did'nt think my 333 mhz imac was up to THAT Måkjager ------------------ Once an Ubërcabbage Always an Ubërcabbage

I have had CM since its release but have been unable to get it to play from a single install. I have a Rev D imac 333 mHz running OS 8.6. To get this game running i had to do wierd stuff with it....double load it....2 CM icons in the Finder menu...and then it would only play in 640x480. This would lock up my system when i hit the exit button. I would have to use Cmd Shift Esc and power button , just so as to shut it down. This was driving me mental until my bud told me to try this Open GL 1.2.1 Now i can play it in 800x600 in millions of colours , exit with no problems and my hair is starting to grow again So if anybody is having problems.....try it Måkjager ------------------ Once an Ubërcabbage Always an Ubërcabbage

Welcome to the forum Oak , hope you enjoy the banter that goes on here from time to time. If you are a mac user there are 2 Mod Manager programms to be found at CMHQ...makes cut and paste a thing of the past. I oncehad a Hetzer in a QB vs American M4 . The Hetzer was out of ammo...the M4 fires 32 shots at its frontal armour ..... and 60 + rounds of 81 mm mortar fire peppered the area ...not one bit of damage to the Hetzer....except when i eventually moved it....side penetration Yes those lil guys are nasty if you get them in the right position. My minor quibble / suggestion is about the Stug / Panzerjager crews uniforms in CMBO and suggestion for CM2 . All the Stug /Pzjg crews in CMBO wear the black Panzer uniform. As far as i am aware ( i stand to be corrected ) only crews from the Panzers and mb the Pz Aufklärung formations were allowed to wear this uniform . The crews of the Stug / Pzjg detachments were issued a similar type of uniform but in a field grey/ green colour. In cases where crews of Stugs/ Pzjg vehicles did appear to have the black Pz uniform , i think that can be put down to the serious loss of vehicles and damage to production centers , forcing Panzer crews with the black uniform to be issued with Stug / PzJg vehicles as stop gaps. In march 1945 sPzAbt 511, a Tiger unit had on its TOE 3 Kompanies , the 2nd was issued with Tiger 1s , 3rd Kompanie with Tiger IIs , whilst the 1st had a Kompanie of 10 Hetzers . What i would like to see in CM2( and mb if possible in a patch for CMBO ) if space and time allows BTS to do it is have a software routine that picks the appropirate crew uniforms for the branch of service. This goes as well for the late war WSS peas pattern uniform in the panzer style that the WSS Pz crews used , especially the heavy Tiger / Tiger II Abteilungs.
