  1. Also there is no key way of doing a scenario....it's no where near a puzzle type wargame like a few others out there...infact I've replayed scenarios where the AI has acted differently each time...

Not officially, no, but sometimes you can play a battle a few times, which means you basically know what and where the enemy forces will be, but given the sometimes nearly unobtainable objectives and limited duration of the scenario, you have to get everything just right to get a victory. The varying AI plans certainly help to change this up. It gives longevity and replayability to the game, but I don't remember most CMx1 scenarios being as difficult to win. Maybe the AI is just that much better this time.

  2. I think some scenario designers seem to have forgotten how to make fun scenarios, instead more recently in CMSF and now into CMBN alot of scenarios feel like a frustrating chore to be endured. I suppose it was simpler in CMx1 when everyone was designing missions for WEGO and the victory options were pretty much limited to capture the flag.

I would agree with that. Many of the scenarios are so frustratingly difficult. Of course, I enjoy a good challenge, but it often seems you are doomed to failure unless you unlock the "key" to a particular battle.

  3. CMx2 is a different game. Nothing has been removed or changed, unless you are comparing to CMSF. I enjoy CMBN. It certainly does play differently than CMx1 games, but that's to be expected when you move to a new game engine. There are some things I like and some things I don't like, but nothing is a deal breaker for me. There are a few bugs that I am sure will be fixed sooner or later. I like the interface and I don't understand the complaints. For example, I can't imagine how someone could possibly bail their troops from a vehicle unless that's what they wanted to do. Of course, you may enjoy CMx1 over CMx2, and that's a valid preference, but don't criticize CMBN because it doesn't tickle your particular fancy. If there are other games you like better, then play them!

  4. I know... I just have moral and ethical issues with the whole culture of credit and debt. I've spent years raging against it, and now find myself unable to avoid becoming part of it.

Well, just remember that you are in control. Only buy things that you know you have the cash for and never carry a balance and you will never be in debt. You could even send a payment before you get the statement if you don't want to worry about it.

  5. After consulting with the girlfreind, I has decided to give in and get a credit card.

26 years of telling credit card companys to go away... over.

If you pay off your balance in full every month the card shouldn't cost you anything, other than what it costs to buy stuff that you couldn't buy because you didn't have a credit card.
