A modded sound file that shouts "They're Here!!!" with a high volume setting would do the trick.

It's crazy to fight that battle with the default setup. I move most of the half tracks to the left or right sides of the setup zone with no intention of trying to drive them up the road. I leave one PSW on the road and maybe one or two half tracks, that's it.

It was never in the game, so it couldn't have been removed. But I do hope they add it, as it would be nice to know how effective your arty was without having to count the bodies.

Actually, in CM1-3 the spotter (if thats concidered a FO) showed the artillery kills.
But the airstrikes have never shown.
I knew there was something that didn't show stats.

I haven't had enough experience with them yet, but I think a foxhole (set of four holes) is meant to hold a team, not a whole squad, so you would need two or three foxholes to accommodate a whole squad, depending on the number of men in the squad. And the best way to get the whole squad in is to break it up into teams and place each team into a set of foxholes.

I don't think FOs ever showed kill stats in CM.

It is my understanding that these vehicles are really meant for transportation and not fire support, so the only crew that remains is the driver. But you can load any other unit, even a single soldier who may be a sole survivor from a squad that was wiped out, and he will man the MG.

It worked in the demo. The problem that I and others have is that when you use the trunks only setting the leafy parts don't reappear as you pull back. You have to recycle the T toggle to reset the trees. I don't know if this is a game bug or a video card issue.

3. From the new move "bubble" order the tank to area fire a new spot with 20 second pause.
4. Order tank to do a very short length quick move.
5. From new move "bubble" order tank to area fire for rest of turn (20 seconds).
Three areas shot at in one turn. Work? Yes. But we love WEGO don't we?
This works, but it would be nice to have a feature that makes this a simple task - either a fire arc or a line of fire like the arty command.

I am not nearly as concerned about casualties as I was in CMSF. I guess I just expect more casualties in a WWII setting.

It does seem a bit daunting. I played around with it a little last night and couldn't get what I wanted with the allotted points. I know I will get it when I have the time to think it through, but it is much more complicated than the CMx1 system. Not a complaint, just an observation.

One thing I'd like to know is... how could anyone be "screwed over" due to people posting the e-mail on the forum?
I mean, up until now you can only preorder the game, there are no regular options! That means anyone who is able to download the game actually preordered, hence he isn't "stealing" bandwidth. :confused:
Because now that people know it is out they can go and buy the game too. They would have had to wait for the initial announcement. It's not the end of the world, but knowing what a PITA it was to download the demo, you would think people wouldn't want to tell the world that the game was out.

I tried printing the manual on my Epson line printer. Big mistake! The boxed ? mark doesn't appear (which is great), but the greyish text on yellowish "paper" emptied the LightMagenta printer cartridge. (And the printer stops working if ANY cartridge is empty.) So now I have a printer I can't use until I get a new set of cartridges for $70 or so,
In the future you should print these things in black and white so you don't waste your color ink.
