Curious myself, I played with those that were made for CMBO, will those work in CMAK? BF -

You will lose alot of time to wargaming. The CM series is great. I tend to phase in and out. Right now I am just really getting back to it again after a lay off of sorts, I've been playing the Total War games, anyway just ordered CMAK myself. BF

Personally I applaud the attempt.Thanks. Some_God you don't need to use it if you find the symbols offensive. BF

Love 'em all. Usually play whatever grabs my fancy at the time I sit down. BF

Hey Toastman have you tried CMMOS? It does the switching for you and lets you make the decision as to what mods to use via a neat interface. BF

I really get a kick out of these arguments. As far as consoles playing FPS, I've played all of them the PC offers, from Doom on up, and I would place HAlo at or near the top of the heap. The pad was easy to pick up and get use to, I never missed the mouse keyboard setup. As far as the "elitists" attitudes towards the masses getting at CM I could care less, my first concern would be how would the game port to console. And that is a question for more technically adept minds than mine! BF

Just in case anybody else wants it. I like the DFDR mod. Great work! http://www.wargamer.com/cm/cmworld/wartfb.asp BF -
I have just recently gotten the new CMMOS F&S version, and would recommend it for anyone. I had already done a second install for Clubfoots excellent D-Day mod, which I also highly recommend. IMHO CMMOS has been a godsend and the latest version is just that much better, my hat is off to all the talented folks involved in this, and every other mod out there, Thanks!

Great idea, great site. Incoming is almost too much, I mean Battle of the Bulge and the D-Day mods, not to mention the uniforms, vehicles...whew! Thankyou to the Modders out there. -
Old Batch Files and CMMOS
BFawlty replied to Capt Canuck's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
Not sure if this is what was asked already by Mattias, about the bmp files, but I see some in the ruleset folders in CMMOS. Are these what were referred to? And if so and they aren't used should they be put into the bmp file under CMBO? Thanks -
Boy Sybil wouldn't think that was funny at all!!!

Is the Mod community shrinking?
BFawlty replied to Michael Dorosh's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
I jumped into the CMMOS thing just recently. Really do like it. It's amazing how much this game has changed due to the great work of the modders. I like the looks of that Normandy mod in another thread here. -
The Perfect War Game should include... (IMHO)
BFawlty replied to Urban Shocker's topic in Combat Mission Archive #4 (2002)
I agree with Urban Shocker that CMMC is a good looking way to handle this. But like him I have a consistent time problem. And I also await the game that FAdmiral mentioned!
