  4. Evil energy just does not work when applied to good. (the very fact it's being used for good makes it no longer evil, and thus you lose all evil hull down benefits and force multipliers... I wish you people would read the life manual, so I wouldn't have to explain this stuff). </font>
  5. Warhammer 40k...it does sometimes require me to pause step away due to the tension.

  8. I quite stunned you spent this amount of time doing this. If you could just apply your evil energy to good...
  9. I actually don't think it is that much different. Even some of the technical issue. I remember reading the support forums on CMBO's release and there were a lot of people there having issues too. Anyone remember the fog issues with some cards?
  10. Redwolf, I get that feeling about a couple features left out. This one in particular brings me back the long threads about and the final discussions aboutit. Hunt, Hull Down, Shoot and Scoot, etc, all were time saving commands that allowed us to not micromanage the game. I get a feeling that some design decisions were made based on an assumption that RT, down on the ground, was going to be the dominant mode. I really don't think that will be the case.
  11. Looks like some kind of beaming technology. Do lobsters have that
  12. That is what I am asking. Some people like to build maps and have people use. So what you are saying is that if I want to use a map, I have to load it's scenario and delete all units and plans?
  13. Can standalone maps be brought into the scenario editor, or can you only load scenarios and delete everything in them to get a map? I did a search and re-read the manual and couldn't find an answer.
  14. I didn't see that in the manual, did I miss it. Also what was the reasoning behind changing it?
  15. I just noticed that and thought maybe there was an enemy I didn't see, but the Stryker just sat there until I gave it a new command.
  16. One thing I have always respected about BFC is that, when it comes to CM, they don't rationalize features and functions. They didn't have time and thats it. No weird and uncomfortable rationalizong away a missing feature.
  17. That is why Verizon, my home provider for work reasons, limits file sizes.
  18. Heck I can't run up a flight of stairs with out being fatigued...oh never mind
  19. No ocntest...I really hope that you are only in the heat of the moment and will reconsider.
  20. Actually, I had seen it used for Tigers on the Prowl by HPS while CMBO was still indevelopment
  21. As a battalion or companmy commander during a RT game, you are going to spend precious decision cycles screwing around with getting an M2 squared away in hull down. That is why you need hull doen and shoot & scoot commands. It is the same issue TOW had. Why remove something that was actually quite useful. btw, WYSIWYG is really WYSICloseToWYG. I think the terrain is accurate 1m (a lot for a tank) and 8M for objects)
  22. You can compare the engines pretty easily. You can also compare the finished state.
  23. Stupid question, maybe its because I have such an old video system, but what are FRAPS
