  1. Whistle while you work and play... http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/29/paradise_decay.html
  2. I have 18, mostly with the cretins in the Cessdomâ„¢. And, thROBORATe, if you recall not so long ago I made a fair and wholesome challenge to your hideously grotesque hide which you have failed to take up. Send me a file you swill dwelling obese mouse. StR
  3. A whole, yes, a complete, unabridged, fullsome Thread has been and gone without the merest hint (odour) of my presence. Before this one passes into History, and left to litter the dark alleyway of that shortcut to nowhere that everyone has forgotten about, I would just like to stick my head in and tip my hat. Games are progressing full steam ahead and much blood is being spilled in the name of Honour and Pride. As soon as circs allow, I will inform you all of the death, decay and utter humiliation suffered by both sides in all battles. Until then, consider my hat tipped at the appropriate angle and duration to demonstrate the respect and admiration I owe you all. That's right, it didn't move at all, did it? StR On a side, and probably insignificant, note, what ever happened to that Wildman character? I have been waiting patiently for some not inconsiderable weeks for a return file, but nothing. If, as I suspect, he has 'done a runner' would it be prudent or unsportsmanlike to claim a victory over him? Lorak, I may need your judgement call on this, and I will abide by your decision, but it would be nice to chalk up some sort on mark on my Card, be it relevant or not.
  4. Reporting... Al of my delinquents are festering and bubbling away nicely. Little do they know, nor could they possibly comprehend, that I am about to lance their bulging pockets of gangrenous jelly. Someone fetch me my umbrella!
  5. Talking of Aussies, where is our beloved Kitty? She got a right e-beating from turd called LeftWaffle or something yesterday and she has not been heard of since. Anyone? StR
  6. For God's sake, bring on the freakin' Crodaberg. He's been whining about his blasted scenario for weeks. Come on, let's shut the bugger up! I cast 1 vote for Crodaberg. StR
  7. Agog Parsnip is right. He's got me over a barrel (oh no, where am I going with this?). No, no sexual metaphors here, sorry. He's advancing onto my small protuding element of German Paras. I thought these chaps considered themselves hard, but one little poke from those Yankee boys and they were soon offering themselves up. He also brought up a couple small tanks through the centre of his column, one of which I managed to slap down into the dirt. At this point I thought it prudent to bring out my big boys, twin Marder IIIs. Oh yes, they strutted their stuff wonderfully, until Amish Perpendicular put one of his thrusting shells into the exposed rear of one of the 'brothers' and it blushed into a fiery bloom. The twin, lost without his sibling, stood dumbstruck and suffered exactly the same fate. So my plan of rushing into the back door of my opponent had failed completely and the tables have turned. I now lay helpless and exposed to the torrential advances of this young pretender. I fear all is lost. StR
  8. It was a pleasure servicing you M'Lord. StR!
  9. I'm just gonna stick my nose in here about para selection. If you're playing British Paras, you can have Jeeps and MG Jeeps, also carriers towing 6pdrs. The British paras did land with Tetrach Airborne tanks in gliders on D-Day, but these are not modelled in CM, so no tanks. You may also have artillery upto 4.2" mortars. Very few guns, other than AT, were airlanded with the Brits. If you're the US Airborne you may have Jeep and MG Jeeps, no carriers, but Jeeps did tow AT guns upto 57mm, also 75mm howitzers. Artillery is similar to Brits, except you may also use 75mm as these were landing in enough quantities to make batteries. The German Paras were a bit of a misnoma by this stage of the war, so can be supported by a greater range of vehicles as they were primarily land-based. I hope this has been useful and is not too late for some of you. StR
  10. Is this a dating forum now? OK, I'm looking for a 25-35yo female with GSOH, preferably brunette but is not important. A willingness to have fun and apreciate the beauty of nature is important. I don't want to jump straight in, so would prefer to have a casual relationship first. Please reply to this box number and leave a message. Thanks.
  11. WOW! You people have got to see this. What part do you have Mace? http://www.planetoftheapes.com/
  12. OK Wolfenstein and Co. now I have everything sorted out, expect me when you least expect me! StR
  13. Hey Munch I don't seem to be playing Michael in our Division. Is this right? StR
  14. I intended it to imply that it was free to USE, not to STEAL, without specific licence.
  15. This started out as a simple request. No, not even a request, a suggestion for common decency and respect. And, as usual it seems, along come two specific people and turn it into an argument. What drives you people? I don't understand why arguments have to occur over almost every topical or contentious subject, instead of simply airing your point of view. Original artistic work has intellectual value to the originator and, as such is protected by law, if stated. If not, it is public domain and open to editorial reviews or re-working. Common courtesy, however, suggests that you make some mention of the originator of the work you have edited or used. StR
  16. ...the thousands of jars of marmelade the gits had aqcuired from the supply lines of the insignificant and totally useless...
  17. Alien & Kracks I'll send a file tonight (GMT). This is going to be bloody so bring wet wipes. Dogpick send me a file you wimp! StR
  18. Oh, I like that. Especially when it comes from a naked-except-for-his-dungarees hillbilly like you. A mountain-shack-dweller like yourself, in a ready-to-drop denim pret a porter is up for fiddle playing fun as soon as the slightest whiff of deoderised city folk enters your territory, exposing the most hideous adolescent dangler this side of pregnancy. Well, Alpine Pagoda, we'll soon see who has the right to fiddle at the end of this little jaunt in the woods. Hey? StR
  19. Oi, Aphid Pestilence, you have committed a WHOLE company to ridding that position occupied by a SOLE unsupported platoon. I hope that makes you feel proud, son. Full of boastful qualities, that! Having blinkered your flanks like a tourists beach donkey, I now fully surround you, and am enjoying the supplies left for you by the cretinous slobs you employ. Could you put in an order for more tea, please? I hate German coffee. As for Crocus, we too are playing in the snow. He has also shelled his own troops. And has also ignored his flanks. Is this the same game or what?
  20. Hello Manx I have read about your troubles over the past week or so and may be able to help a bit, in a financial way. Please tell me about yourself (by personal e-mail; therat@thelair.co.uk) and what you hope to accomplish with the site in the future. Looking forward to your reply. Steve
  21. Dear Kitty I have mentioned eons ago that I am constructing some bare chested army chick pics, and have come to the regrettable conclusion that I am unable to finish them. If you would like to pick up the torch and carry it on to the finish line (in Sydney Olympics metaphorics) I would be pleased to mail you the files. I would have mailed you directly but I wouldn't like to encumber your oh so feminine 'box with my testosterone inspired obscenities. I can give you PS5.5 layered files or JPG them for you. They work out at around 1Mb per layered file or 100k or so for JPGs. As you have demonstrated on numerous occasions, you have ample talent in the 'touching up' department, and I can think of no better person to finish my life's work. Do let me know. StR
  22. The 6lb ATG is a little beauty. Before D-Day, it only had APCBC shells, which was fine against the tanks of the desert war, but post Overlord had an increasing number of APDS (discarding sabot) shells in its inventory. These shells are very high velocity and work by the outer casing falling away after firing, leaving a small, but very dense core to speed to the target. In general, you could summarise the effectiveness of the British ATGs like so: 1. 2lb APCBC 2. 2lb with Long John squeeze velocity attachment 2. 6lb APCBC 3. 6lb APDS 3. 17lb APCBC 4. 17lb APDS Obviously, the bigger guns excelled the smaller ones at longer ranges. I have no idea if this is modelled in CM, but in practice this was the case. StR
