A few links dealing with VXD - blue screens of death. Use the list on the right of this page to open other pages, kinda explains how to check your VXD http://tweakhomepc.virtualave.net/update/vmm32vxd.html http://www.windrivers.com/tech/troubleshoot/winexceptions.htm http://www.generation.net/~hleboeuf/fatlexer.htm http://www.overclockers.com.au/techstuff/a_dos_me/ And finally the other side of thinking about the VXD issue, always 2 sides to a coin. http://www.infinisource.com/techfiles/vmm32.html As i have WinMe i just DL the WinMe (vxd) files adn installed them. Havn't really seen a VXD error after that. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy the bed time reading Geoff

Just read this at voodooextreme Laser Squad Nemesis 12:12 AM (your time) - Manveer "Eidolon" Heir - Games: Turn-Based Strategy - (3) Since their most recent game (The Dreamland Chronicles: Freedom Ridge) was canned by Virgin Interactive, Mythos Games, the guys behind the original X-Com, are working on an e-mail version of their game Laser Squad. Here's what Julian, pimp-daddy behind Mythos, had to say: Our new game will be an email version of Laser Squad, called "Laser Squad Nemesis". This game will be available directly from our new company - Co Do Games. You only need to pay a small subscription for unlimited play. key features of the game are: (1) A new 2-player turn-based system in which both players issue orders and then watch them execute simultaneously. (2) A choice of three factions - space marines, droids or aliens. (3) A very large variety of maps and scenario types. (4) A World league system, allowing you to challenge other players around the world. We will making further announcements concerning the Laser Squad Development Club, which will allow you to support the development of the game financially in return for a long term subscription, and a chance to help develop the game through our beta testing programme.

Maybe it's a driver issue. Check which drivers work best with your card and CM Sorry i can't help much as i have a V5 Yes I do understand. I did do that. I start from scratch, but everytime after about the 5th option, i click "skip to next" and I get the error message Have you tried not skipping to next and just use what it gives you first, as a tester to see how it runs ? Maybe you need to delete or move your Pref file out of cmbo. As you have a new card you may need to redo the pref file thingy. Hope you understand what i mean geoff -
I had a tiger take 4/5 piat hit and keep on trucking.... I wasn't impressed. It must have picked up a 100 health armour bonuses somewhere on the battlefield Geoff

Cubes replied to Chris's topic in Combat Mission Archive #3 (2001)
Boot into Win98 in safemode. My computer / right click on C drive go down to properties / tools / check for errors Then shutdown then restart, see if that helps ? What did you do to get your machine to want to boot in software mode ? Geoff -
Lets say 1500-2000 points - combined forces -meeting engagement. I take any side, fire your setup to me.. Geoff justdoit44@bigpond.com.au
