Also u could be running the resolution to high, there is a tread in the combat mission forum that is called (survey lease read) you should read that 1st Cubes

May be a crazy idea, but have your tried removing your sound card and see if it locks up after that ? You might also say which drivers versions you are using for your cards/mouse etc. Cubes

I may be wrong... but i am pretty sure that the V4 dosn't do FSAA ? like i said i may be wrong..

Another way of finding your card is OPEN Program File - folder Directx - folder setup - folder Dxdiag - double click Should bring up a some information tabs and there are 2 tabs (display 1 & display 2)in them u can find your card and manufacturer Cubes

Hiya Bldrain, If u have the demo u may have to advertise that fact as i expect alot of ppl are playing pbem with the CD. I think you will find most ppl here finish pbem games. I have only had 1 pbem not finished in around 30/40 pbem games.

Hope this is high on BTS improvement/update list... or maybe someone could make a general form for people to use with there 1st e-mail when starting a pbem. Geoff

I have had a few days to play the CD and after a few pbem games CD V1.01 - i would prefer to play the axis 700 points or lower. I read your problem on CM and was wondering what resources level u are at - control panel / system / performance. as i know one guy also had the game crashing adn it was because his resources where i think around 50 something. Anyway i send u a site u can check about stopping things starting up when u load windows. http://www.flipchip.net/win98opt.htm the only only things i have running in my START/RUN type in msconfig - then go to startup tab and all i have running is scanregistry/ and both loadpowerprofile. My system normal boots at around 95 resources. This may help may not but worth checking it out anyway let us know if any help or not. Geoff
