No amount of pointing will get you there, they don't exist. But IIRC, someone did do a slightly modified M3A1/White Scout Car, but it really wasn't much of an improvement. Those are WAAY outdated, those were my original German uniforms, hell I've been using the ones from MDMP-2 ever since. But I did make a new Heer/Gebirgsjager one based on "rangefer's" hi-res SS Field Grey Uniforms. The film looks at the hardships of common soldiers on the battlefield. Lewis, I don't know about the thread, but I do know that in numerous instances in playing Chance Encounter that it was fairly easy to get the StuGs in hull down and they could take numerous hits which resulted in ricochets. So yeah, a StuG is a great vehicle for achieving hull down status. Well having been away for a while, I hope you are aware of the "Final" v1.12 patch? But anyway, as far as CM2 goes, it sounds like they've been working on it for sometime now. Well at least compiling research and all. But now they are building models and texturing. I understand Kwazydog had several rough 3D models built a while back. Well this *has* been discussed before and in fact you are beating a dead horse. And the basic reasoning why it was never incorporated was because of what all Jadcarcajou said. IIRC, from just my limited attempt at playing the Steel Beasts demo, the ground wasn't all that hilly, so to have such a command probably wouldn't be that difficult to implement. However with CM and its drastically changing elevations there could be dozens of hull down positions in any general 20m x 20m tile. But then again, going Hull Down is only relative to the unit in question and the target. A Sherman may be hull down to say that Panther at the bottom of the hill, but that Marder II over on its left flank has a clear shot on its hull side. As for TacOps, that's a hex-based game is it not? Well, that would probably be the easiest to do anyway. Rick, I don't if it went through, but I sent ya some cleaned up files. I cut and pasted and flipped the details from the right side of the hull-top over to the "shadowed" left side. I then did a little cloning touch up to remove the mismatched lines. Here's the original look: Note the dark areas around the left side of the turret and rear deck. Now here's the fixed version: Note the cleared up area now. I have sent off these correct files to Rick.
