What kind of system do you have? If 1 Ghz+ go with DDR RAM. 256 MB of 200 MHz DDR RAM is about $100 on Pricewatch.com.

Boy you got that right. It's almost like they're upset that they bought an expensive piece of crap and they try to demean PC users for their mistakes. Let's take a look at the CONS of Macs: 1) Relatively low VRAM. (CM ramification: Stuck with using low-res textures. The original textures were even more low-res than they ended up being and BTS bumped up the resolution for the Gold version) 2) Hardware is strictly monopolated. ie, Mac users must ALWAYS buy Apple Hardware. Hence the high price tag. No competition. No to mention integrated video/audio and all that stuff. 3) Very little choice in software titles. Go to a game store and browse the titles--how many Mac versions are there? Slim to none. 4) Mac users claim that their 400-500 MHz machines run faster than a 700-800 MHz PC, well not really. Lets load up some hi-res textures and we'll just see how fast they run. Space Thing, you hit it right on the head. I do believe that it is a Inferiority Complex. I mentioned this down in the "Which winter uniforms should I use?" thread. So here it is: It is based on rangefer's SS Field Grey uniform.

Hey all this talk about winter uniforms, and after looking at my own personal SS and Heer uniforms, I've decided to redo them. I had them both based on "rangefer's" SS Field Grey uniforms. Both were modeled after my US uniforms, but that look wasn't looking so good as of late. So I've taken into redoing them again. My new Winter Heer looks real good. Again it's based off of rangefer's uniform, but I've done it in a slightly different way. It looks WAY more realistic now. I'd post a screenshot of it, but Photopoint is damn slow these days since it changed its site.

With all of these Canadian CM sites, I should start an American CM site. I mean, every American website doesn't have U.S. plastered all over it. So why the differentiation? Just wondering.... In anycase, why isn't there any Australian CM websites, or German, or Russian, or English, or Polish? Where's Gen. I'm referring to his "smooth looking" water mod that he released some while back. On my machine none of the tiles match up. The textures on them don't match from tile to tile. I get a checkerboard look. Anyway, what water mod do you all use. I've changed mine and I can't recall which mod I had used before. Maybe you read a different AAR than I did, but I didn't see any mention of an M18 and SdKfz halftracks.
