  1. i will play it again, maybe i need to fulfill a higher level of Victory else then a tactival Victory (i left for time isues the Village on the left hand alone and didnt killled the peeps there.
  2. i did win the battle, they didnt surrender but i took the left rout and secured the left objective. And yes i restartet the Campaign fresh with 1.11
  3. Hi, downloaded and installed 1.11 for Marines and was hungry to play the allways failing mission which should come after "decisions decisions" or how it is called, and to my surprise i land again on mission pooh............... really not funny...........
  4. yeah but my problem with real spotting is that u dont have the right tool on hand. the RV (Humvee) as Example i am mostly blind to what corners of the map they can look etc, makes them very limited in use. Also in real time the most military OP´s not under a 2hrs time pressure, no commander of a modern Army would rush in his company to an objective when he expects massive looses. a lot of military ops take waaay longer this is not anymore WWII where high looses are acceptable. So give me more time and i am glad with spotting like Real World, but with a Gamey 2hrs limit u may watch out in case of spotting rules. just my 0.02 cents
  5. slowing down campaign is not good for me. I am a slow player anyways already and the 2h Time limit often already hurting me to finish my objectives.............. Also the spotting in 1.10 was toned down a lot and now even more... i don't know if i like it.
  6. Well what about a little Box to Pop Up on key where u can just set or unset weapons allowed to fire?
  7. well the heuristic could be like the one from the Normal/Move Command like it is now but with more "Caution" Means a lower trigger for the Unit to hit the dirt and an improved Spotting as it is moving with the indention that the area is HOT. sorry if i cant describe it fully to your understandings but English is not my native language and it is a complicate to tell subject Ah and your Covering Arc Idea sounds great would like it also, but i witnessed that Covering Arcs are often overiden by AI in 1.10 when enemy targets are close or clear to see even if they are way of the CA

Yep in 1.10 Spotting got a LOT Harder, even when Facing irregular or untrained units, before u had at least some chances to find enemys, but now the only way to "Unhide" them is to provide them a Target. Little TIP: Use Humvees bottomed up as a Bullet Magneto, from some Range the enemy's often cant stand to shoot at them but usual doing not harm them but u get a clue where the Evil Boyz are hiding............
  10. well yes i mean a Hunt which doesn't stop the Unit when they sight an enemy Unit but keep processing forward but slower then normal walk and with weapons raised and alerted to see enemys. The Unit should only Stop if they come under suppressive fire or are realy so close to an enemy unit that they `have´ to fight. But good Tip with the Covering arc, it is at least a sort of workaround for me. Didnt know this........
  11. Hi, i play CMSF a little while now and there is one thing i really Miss. A Command like the Hunt (where Unit Move until they have Contact with Enemy's) and are in a Combat Ready Situation, but they dont Stop if they see an enemy but Move until they reach their Waypoint. Currently u have the Joice between Normal (Walk in the Park mode) Hunt (Stoping if an enemy is seen) and Quik or Fast which exhausts your Troops very fast Slow/crawl is of no use for more then 5 meters then your Troops are on the end........ So is there a Chance to get such a Slow Moving but Combat Ready Command in the Future CM Titles i really think it could enrich my Tactics.

  13. well one thing that was extra hard for me, was that i was realy sometimes not been able to spot enemys in houses even when waching them for 15 minutes etc. that give u so hard times......... Also the Enemy AFV and IFV seem to spot u so much easier then u spot them, even when both hide and standing still. Dont know if that is something that just changed with 1.10
  14. Minefield are the worst part of CMSF it was way better in CMx1 series. And i realy hope there will be a better Solution for mines in the Normandy Game.

Well if u loose to much in Pooh u will not go very far in your next mission. i tried Pooh until i lost only 4 men from MG Teams and all Vehicles in good shape (Damage taken in one mission gets carried over to next mission so u get Abrahms without Ir etc is no good thing) But to archive this i played the pooh scenario 20 times i think........
  16. Hi, just played through the Marines Campaing, and in Mission 4 it says that depending on the VL i take (Eagle or Tiger) the Route to Hims is deterined, but somehow i allways come to Mission 5 Objektive Pooh or how it is called. is this correct or is there an alternate set of Scenarios?
  17. just a minor bug but it looks like 4 men teams boarding the LAV-25 they forget to close one or both doors afters. when boarding it sometimes look like door open close open

  19. Trained in Germany Army on the MG3 (which is almost identical to the MG42 except a lower Rate of Fire 900-1000 IIRC). Usually u fire 3-5 Rounds per shot, but there is something called "Storm-Defense-Fire" in this Case u Hold the Trigger and aim by the Hit marks/Dirt blows of your Bullets. Don´t Care about the Barrel on MG42 it is exchangeable like it is also on the MG3 which means you can swap it out in about 15 seconds one swaps out the Barrel (the loader) while the gunner puts in a new belt of ammo means that in extreme cases and Ample Ammo i can fire sustained about 500 Shoots a minute for about 3-4 minutes depends on outside Temperature and the amount of extra Barrels u have but usually was 2 Barrels per MG. Hollywood might not be so far away with Situations like the ones on the Beach, because in such situations u give a **** about the MG Barrel might get broken after u finished, because u know if u don't keep them buggers on their flat face down in the dirt the come to kill you, because they hate Machinegunners........
  20. What would make me happy if i could unmount the Javelin Launcher and Rockets also again in a Vehicle. Sometimes i grab one bcause i think i need one and then i am stuck with it the whole mission long.......
