Try ALt-TAB Schugger, the DET 2 drivers work for all Nvidia cards :0 One size fits all, except you won't get the FSAA option Yeap that driver should work fine. The smoothness increase is noticable, especially in OpenGL. Make sure you follow the installation instructions in the readme. Don't install the executable in the zip file. ccj

Babra - that only works during orders, but most of the time, I lock onto units only when I playing back a movie And when ya wanna get a better view you drop off. You automaticly move the mouse when you want to move the camera. ccj

I really really really hate the circular camera pivot CM has now, is there a reason why it pivots like this as opposed to a single point pivot all 3d game and FPS games have??? It also makes it impossible to make panaroma pics as well Another requested feature - I'd like to be able to lock to a unit and be able to pan left and right without dropping off the unit. WHat I did was install it over my leadtek drivers, and now have both sets of info control applets you company will incorporate the latest drivers into theirs soon anyway ccj

There is a huge drop in frame rate when you go from 2xFSAA to 4xFSAA. The geforce does FSAA in hardware too, and the difference is remarkable, but i wouldn't use it for resolutions above 1280x1024, the framerate gets mightly low. I'd rather get a Geforce GTS 2, since the V5500, only has 16 megs per chip (32 in total) , but each chip has to have the same tetxures. ccj

SOme extra points - your allowed to use view 7 and 8 as well Treat it as a map All moves have to plotted from the POV of a locked unit, no scolling around in view 1. View 7+8 should be treated as a map and recon, no plotting here execept for group moves. Think of this a general platoon orders etc. Movie watching should be only viewed from locked unit's pov or unlocked nearby. No movie watching from view 7 or 8 I think that's about Ps - its very easy to run into ambushes ccj [This message has been edited by CoolColJ (edited 06-08-2000).]

Want a way to improve immersion and play the game with real FOW? This is a trick we did for the beta demo - Play CM with only view 1! Use the the -/+ keys to cycle around to your units, and give orders using view 1 only! Leave it at view 1 for the entire game, don't even try to get extra recon by changing view! You only see what your units can see You can lock to units, but that's about it Now let's see how good that AI is now! Even during the movie phase, keep it a view 1! If you want to get extreme, watch the movie only once! You'll have to decide from which unit you will watch the movie from. Now that's real FOW and set of the pants stuff. I did some work on the fire animation, replacing it with a digital video I filmed of a backyard bon fire One of my textures did make it into the finalgame, I think my Hellcat did. SeaHawk - no Chance a CD arrived today.....I was really excited!!! Doh! It was a demo of a 3D Modeller program I had requested WHat a Let down Ok - Maximus, yeah that tire colour and dirt issue, has been simmering at the back of my mind. I didn't miss it But if you look at the tank's gun/front/top and rear, you can see they need some work too So CCJ is on the case DAmn....I also pee'ed myself....a Cm cd box... NOT CCJ

You need to get yourself a Jpegger to jpeg that .bmp file There are some freeware stuff if you do a search at www.Tucows.com or similar places.
