Well, Colin Put the first one up on his site, but I reposted it on the club also.
This is a series of three that show a nice artillery grouping.

1st) KT's on parade
2nd) fireworks
3rd) aftermath.
IIRC there were a several spotters during this one, using a lot of diffrent guns. From small caliber stuff to naval guns.
You can't really tell by the pics but the KT's in the hit area and a ways outside of it were all immobile to say the least. You don't see any brew-ups due to the HE being used.

I think the media (who has become lazy) Just assumes any unit labeled SS killed the Jews, the same as all german soldiers during WWII were nazi's. As we know, this is not true.On the waffen-ss, of course they did horrible things, But I am sure every other unit and nationality did so also.
You just will not read about them....

Yep, Bunkers are treated like units and come occupied. Once that unit is taken out. Thats it.

John the easiest way is to position your camera for the move you want to make. I find a side position works best. You just have to remember that your move will show up on the bottom floor.

this is sad... I love CM too.. and even though I say it's my life, it really isn't.
Instead of bitching, be constructive. If your in the CMMC work on comming up with a Bio for your character (i had a lot of fun doing that, and believe i could actualy write a good size story about him now). Catch up on reading. Or just spend time with the loved ones you won't be seeing after the game goes Gold.
In general just live.

I got high resolution with my voodoo3000, doing the following. And it was simple. I uninstalled CM, made sure my screen settings were what i wanted and reinstalled. CM configured itself to the new sceen size.

I think Foobar had the right Idea also.. He stated that he knows he is safe until the 50 yard line in scenarios. I believe that the possibility of units anywhere would add a great fear factor into playing.

Ash, i don't think there is any way to model a unit that is shot up. The closest you can come is to start them with half-squads(assume the other half has been destroyed). As for pre bombardment... When making the map, I'm assuming that you can place rubble tiles to show this,and set up units in start zones that would match the situation. CM I think starts the battle with the assumption that "softing up" has already taken place. So its up to the scenario designer to represent this.

OK, I'm not a Grog.. but didn't Germany,(even with allied bombing), mantian their production figures late in the war? I thought that even mantaining output they couldn't keep up with losses in the field on three fronts. This is why they were low on equipment. Well and lack of fuel with caused them to abandon a lot of equipment.

along with the american indian troops... But I wouldn't use that as a claim for victory. The "green devils" Handed the allies butts to them on that hill. Yes they finally took it. But it cost them alot.

what about the allied POW scenario? where we have underground tunnels and sneak off to Berlin and pass information to our subs? and well.... I guess that would be more of a Sim wouldn't it...
